A very good story.  Definitely something that could have continued.  Sorry to see that you don't seem to be writing anymore HP fanfic in general. (I'm secretly hoping Pottermore will put a fire under some fanfic authors butts to write more)

"Tangled Webs," indeed.  This story was about so much more than the smut--I've read two of your stories today and I'm in love with the way you write Snape.  I also really admire how open you left this.  It's the 'drabble writer' in me, I guess, but I love it when an author trusts her reader to complete the complex pattern which you've begun to weave.  Thanks!

Ah, the enigma of Severus Snape!  You've left us still Confunded by the issue of whether he is really on the side of the Order, on the side of Voldemort, or, perhaps, dedicated only to himself and self-preservation.

It's a great story--as always when you write.

This by far is my favorite chapter in this story. This is exactly where your writing talent comes though. It's a bit too ambiguous for my taste in the end, but I definately enjoyed the questionable twist. Personally, I think in this he's good, judging by his reaction after Voldemort leaves. (JK has also come out and said plainly he's good. I'm suprised she did that.)

This is so very sad. But I like that you give us a close look into Hermiones mind, and through her into Severus mind. Very well written.

It is interesting that you also show the male side of this rape, that he is as much a victim as Hermione. This aspect is often left aside.They still have to do something to her, right? Either Voldemort will want to see her broken or see Severus' memories of breaking her. Some spell which causes superficial wounds to make it look gruesome while being relatively harmless? I don't think Voldemort will just take Snape's word for it, he will want proof before he agrees to release her.

I'm very absorbed by the characters and this study of desperate circumstances driving impossible choices. It comes almost as a shock to see the epilogue is what's coming next ... it feels as if they're just getting started. But in any event, the journey has been worthwhile.

You evil writers. Leaving us when its good and ending it..oh the end is now here.

Another great fic from you SW69.  You know i do wonder..is he good or bad or  is he just doing his own thing, dealing with his own needs.  I don't think we will never really know for sure. 

Truly horrid situation for both of them.  I hope this works out for the best.  Maybe he'll find a bit of mercy at the hands of the Ministry, and maybe the Order has their spy back.  Can't wait for the epilogue, I'm curious to see what happens in the end.   As always, I love the emotional journey your stories take me on... I don't think I reviewed this when I first read it, which is a shame, because it was easily one of my favorite pieces of the exchange. When I finished reading it the first time and read the author's note, I went, "NOOOOO! You HAVE to continue this! Have to Have to Have to!"

Of course, I do understand your leaving it like this, and it might actually be better that you do leave it, because it does give the imagination so much room to play, so much doubt and hope... It's damn near brilliant, Sun!

Intriguing start.  I find dark fics interesting.  Let's face it, everything you write is well worth a read.

I love this story so far, please don't be like alot of other authers and never finsh the story I hate that.
