My family became hooked on Harry Potter in 2001, when my son was going through a stage of reluctance to read fiction. Now it is a family hobby. I am a psychology teacher from Birmingham, England. My husband, who is Australian, is a computer programmer and network engineer. We have three teenaged children and two cats. We are all Evangelical Christians.

This chapter has a feeling of waiting to me. As Adriane starts to gather the information she needs to figure Remus out, I get the feeling there's going to be some major revelations.I'm also wondering what happens to her in the end. I'm thinking she has to die before Harry grows up, otherwise someone with her unique talents would feature prominently in the Order (if she got involved with them at all, I guess). Oooh, the suspense

,You are right, Ariadne isn't yet very interested in Remus, but she is certainly putting the information together in her head.Yes, Ariadne is Order material. Why Remus, Kingsley and Hestia signed up, yet left Ariadne, Richard and Ivor behind, will become clear in due course. As to how the story will end long-term ... well, that would be telling, wouldn't it? Suffice that we shall finish fully canon-compliant. I originally wrote the first two and a half volumes pre-HBP, but I didn't have to change much for the new edition.Regards,GhV

Response from Raira (Reviewer)

I don't really want you to tell me. I'd rather read it! I just wanted you to know what I was wondering as I read it. :)

Those last two paragraphs are very poignant. I'm so looking forward to the next chapter. I'm feeling both excited and sad that this story's coming to an end - excited because I want to know what happens; but I'll be sorry not to have another chapter to look forward to.

Dear

Response from Grace has Victory (Author of Moons of Deceit)

,I had a lump in my throat as I wrote those last few lines, because Remus really is on his own at the moment. The next chapter is in the queue. However, it's too soon for you to worry about "no more chapters to look forward to," because I have written three sequels.Until then ... well, Remus is very resourceful, so I'm sure he can manage a few MacDougals between now and the next update.Regards,GhV

Response from Raira (Reviewer)

Hurray for three sequels!

"Delugeo Alphei" This spell made me laugh something hearty.  I do like spells with more than just pseudo-Latin meanings.  I also loved William- being from the States, I had no idea what he sounded like.  So I ended up reading him aloud, just for the feel of it.  A good accent, clearly written, is a joy to get my mouth around.  Like a new language, y'know? And poor Remus- I've been looking forward to jumping back to this timeline.  What's gonna happen? Ack!

Response from Grace has Victory (Author of Moons of Deceit)

Thanks for writing in, Livi. I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier - I haven't checked this site for a while. And I'm so pleased you understand my jokes! JKR has already told us that Remus never has an easy life, so he'll have to grap at every tiny opportunity... GhV
