Childish toys and games are put away when one nears adulthood. Parvati always thought she was a bit more than that to Lavender.

Eh, I'm too boring to have a proper bio.

*sigh*The way you write, about how the fantasy had to change... that. exactly. You hit the nail right on its slightly-disillusioned head. That though you've figured out something about who you are, there is the mildly painful need to change those dreams you held close for so many years. A wedding, a happy ending, it's all wonderful, but your story catches at the corner of the angst that being Not Straight can put in one's heart (especially if you're single as well). You just- got it. You got something I didn't know I was feeling until you articulated it perfectly. I am in awe. Good job.

I'm glad you could relate to this! Well, maybe glad isn't the right word, since I know from experience, the feeling isn't all that pleasant, but... you know what I mean. :) A lot of thought definitely went into writing this, not to mention more introspection than I'm normally up for. Lol. I think that it's so hard, sometimes, to figure out who and what we are, what we want, whether it's a matter of sexuality or something else, and then a lot of times we forget that it's not so simple as just finding the answer. There are so many repercussions to that answer, ones we don't often see until later, if we see them at all, but they're there, and we FEEL them even if we don't know what they are. Um... not sure if I'm making sense. Lol.

No, you make sense. I agree; growing up, taking time, figuring yourself out, these are facts of life. Sexuality's a part of it, and it's the star of your fic, but there's more to it than just that.
I liked this. I think my favorite part was in the girls dormitory when Lavender tells Parvarti that she was with Ron and two hearts are broken at once. That's quite an image.
Excellent. Introspective, thoughtful, and beautifully written.
that was cute. i don't often venture into slash, but i liked this. props!
Wonderful story. Wonderfully written. Oh, and an absolutely brilliantly wonderful last line!
Very well and tactfully told.
