This is far too short for me to give you a considered review.  I suggest you submit an update of a more considerable length a.s.a.p.   ... please.

Severus is acting almost as if he wants more than just a marriage of convenience with Hermione. It looks like he's trying to remind her of things from their marriage, when they were happier, in a matter of speaking. Of course, Severus wouldn't ever come right out and say it; that's not his Slytherin style. Plus, I think pride would be a huge factor as well. He's not about to resort to begging Hermione for anything, but if he can get her to want him badly enough, he wouldn't have to. As for that intent stare into Hermiones' eyes while dancing, there's no doubt in my mind that Severus was more than likely using Legilimens on her in order to see what she's thinking and/or feeling. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Ok I have to admit that I am getting just a little frustrated with this game that Severus is playing with Hermione. I know in my head it is because we are really only getting Hermione's point of view and she is feeling frustrated -- I think -- and we don't know what he is even thinking let alone feeling. And it is obviously part of your story plan, but oh I just want to lock them both in a room until they quit playing these head games and talk (or do other things) to each other. (lol) Thanks for such a frustrating yet intriquing story. I look forward to the their next encounter. -- JoAnne

It is such a great story, I would have loved longer chapters though, desperatly needing to read more of the story:-) Don't make Hermione any weaker though, it is almost to easy for Severus to play with her feelings here. (I do love your story and dont want it to fall into the category of stories where Hermione gets weak in the knees and stary-eyed, let Severus trample her feelings, hurt and ignore her, all based on his own insecurities and promptly forgiven by a swooning Hermione in the final chapter. All based on that as long as he loves her, he is perfectly forgiven for hurting her. )

I just started reading this fic, and I wanted to leave a review at this point. I'm really enjoying your story so far. I feel so bad for Hermione. She loves Severus, but he's making it obvious at this point he doesn't love her. Unless he's trying to hide his true feelings. I have the feeling that the documents Hermione referenced are for a divorce. I'm looking forward to seeing more, and how this all will be resolved.
