Reviews for Ravenclaw's Bracelet
Sad... and who was the witch with blue hair? Tonks?
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Yes, this was written pre-DH, of course and then Tonks was still an Auror *sobs* Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
Great story.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you for your comment. I'm so glad you like it!
i like it. sevvy is one of my favorite characters. he needs a little joy in his life. please, continue.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Loireloa, I'm so glad you liked this story and I thank you for your comments. However, I cannot *coughs* promise that Severus will be happy in the end...this story is linked in time and events to HBP and we all know how that turned out. ;-(
"Oh! It’s magnificent! And huge" ROTFL - that line still gets me every time, 'phile! *snort* so Emma's blonde with big boobs, eh? *cough*marysue*cough*
I love Snape's summary at the end of this chapter, and I can just imagine his snarky tone too. Poor man, he's got so much to deal with. Onto the next chaptah, quickly!!
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Okay, Honey, I resemble resent that, 'blonde, big boobs' remark!! I'm so glad you are enjoying this story and I thank you for your review!
Frickin' Macnair... That poor woman, 'phile! Her whole life's turned upside down! I love the drama though! - have told you that before - and oh! to have Sev look deep into MY eyes and tell me it'll be allright.... *swoons*
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you, dearest! Unfortunately, Snape doesn't always do as he's promised . . . muahhahahahahah
Y'know, I like how easily Snape can switch between himself and Steven, but we all have different parts of our personalities. Who's to say that the Steven character mightn't have been who Severus turned out to be if his childhood/early life was easier. *sigh*
Cliffie = evil.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
What an interesting idea, Honey! Perhaps he can be Steven . . . You'll have to stick with the story to find out! I truly appreciate your reading and reviewing!
Poor emma. But I wouldn't mind Macnair grabbling me :).Hmm Walden and Severus, there's an idea.Seriously, the confusion emma feels comes across as natural and you address many concernsa muggle would have when confronted with a situation of fleeing.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you so much, Drox, I appreciate your review! And, Macnair? Ewwwwww. Emma's confusion will only get worse . . .
nice start!
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you! The next chapter is in the queue. Hope I can keep you 'hooked'!
Oooooo, I still say that this chapter rumbles with disquiet. We feel that there's something about to happen: your words suggest a very big 'something' and yet we're only being given small bits to work with.
There's so much information hidden in the words of this chapter, both the backstory and prompts for future interesting (and dare I say, dangerous) events.
Anticipates more!
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you so much, dear! Yes, there's lots more coming along. The next chapter is in queue right now!
This fic is flowing very nicely. You show Snape's spying abilities well with his alternative Steven persona and how he keeps that separate from Snape. And that is an evil cliffy....
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you so much, Droxy! I really worked hard on Snape in this fic. I'm glad he's resonating well with you. And what's angst without an evil cliffie or two?
Ah so Snape arrived...and equally nasty as we'd expect.I like that you painted Walden as handsome, it says so in the book. But it is a cold grace that one would expect from an executioner like Walden.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you so much, dear! I love that Macnair's cold grace despite his evil soul has showed through!
I liked the line about Snape and Potter and why Harry wasn't invovled in seekig this horcrux. The whole bracelet itself is interesting and well done.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you--I spent a lot of time trolling British museum pages to develop the bracelet--it's an amalgam of 11th British/Roman/Norse styles. And my beta, JaneAverage, was instrumental in the Harry stuff--I had left it out, thank goodness she has incredible canon knowledge (as do you).
Very suspensful begginning and angsty apartment scene. Messing with DE's is a bad thing...
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Oooh, thank you so much! The apartment scene was a challenge for me to write, I'm glad you like it! And yes, I generally try to avoid DE's (present company excluded, of course ;-0 )
Naughty Snape, using *that* voice to woo the woman! Still, I'm grinning with excitement at what's to come!!!
I also like that Emma instinctively distrusts Macnair, 'cause he IS such a sleaze and a thoroughly nasty man.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Thank you so much, Honey! Yes, their "meet cute" was a fun scene to write. And a man like Macnair, despite his British manners, would shine through as a nasty sleaze to anyone, I think!
*Mission Impossible music plays in background*
Ooooo..... the thought of Severus Snape in New York gives a girl shivers of delight! ;o) And that Macnair, he's a real piece of work, isn't he.
Response from snapeophile (Author of Ravenclaw's Bracelet)
Yes, exactly! Mission Impossible music--isn't our Sevvie the ultimate spy in his NYC black clothing? I'm so glad you are liking this. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
Response from HogwartsHoney (Reviewer)
The CONCEPT of Sev in Prada or something equally as devine is simply too much !!! *droooooools*
