Great start, never read a story that inludes Ron in time traveling!

Thank you! It made sense to me this time to take Ron along for the ride. After all, he missed Time Turner traveling durng 3rd year! ~The Mistress
Wonderful to see a new story from '' The Mistress''. I will be waiting for updates.

It's been a long time hasn't it? But I'm so very glad to be back! ~The Mistress
Oh. Dear.Intrigued? Definitely...they've evidently sent themselves back to the time of the Marauders, and have no apparent way to get back! Dumbledore, help! Not sure how you're going to get them (and yourself) out of this one...because they know, and you know, that they could create havoc with the timeline, being flung so far back. Hermione of all people knows this only too well because of what she and Harry did at the end of her third year to save Sirius and Buckbeak.

Oh yes! I'm very well aware of how much trouble they could get themselves into. But first, I suppose, they have to figure out exactly what they're trying to do in the first place. Mwah ha ha. Thank you for reading, dear! ~The Mistress

The wonderful thing about time travel stories -- both inside the Potterverse and outside it -- is that they open the door to all sorts of interesting speculations. The most obvious one, of course, is this...will Hermione's and Ron's inadvertent journey into the past change events so that they no longer occur the way they remember, or is their presence in the past actually necessary in order for the timeline they remember to take place? There does seem to be a certain fated element to this...after all, why did the Time Turner simply break like that without any apparent reason?Of the two of them, Hermione has the most to lose in this scenario -- if they end up making a dog's dinner of the timeline, she as a Muggleborn could potentially be in very serious danger if Voldemort isn't defeated. However, if you want to give Ron an equivalent level of motivation, you could always add a "Back To The Future" sub-plot to this story in which Arthur Weasley and Molly Prewett dislike each other with the result that Ron has reason to fear that he'll never be born (which of course would make it very difficult if not impossible for him to return to his own time).

I have a good deal of the timeline, at least at this point, figured out in terms of action in the past. One of the things that I'm still trying to work through, however is exactly what the present day backlash would be. It's almost like trying to predict the butterfly effect without ever actually seeing the butterfly. And this is one of the reasons why I absolutley love writing. I have to thank you for this wonderfully thought out and amazing review and response. It gives me a lot to think about in terms of moving the story forward as an over arcing storyline. So thank you, very much, for caring enough about this story to think about what might happen and actually put it into words. That means a lot to me! ~The Mistress
This is so interesting! I like the fact that Ron went with her - it's something different.
Please continue! Love this story!
