Mostly Harmless! Though I have to admit, I'm even stranger than I appear. ;-) There's a pile of unbeta'd stuff on my LJ (dracfic) if you're interested in Raw, Untamed, fanfic.
Believe it or not, "How Argus Filch Got Wild, Got Laid, and Got His Magic" has been rec'ed by Know It Alls! It's true! They gave me this pretty lil' ribbon and everything! And in March 2007, they saw fit to likewise reccommend (as an antidote to angst) the story that started it all, 'Courtesy of Your Fairy God-Jarvey'--just in time for the first anniversary of that story's posting! *hugs Harm*
(I also have to admit that 'mostly harmless' may not be the most apt description of a member of the Mad Chatters...)
Finally, I just have to say... Storyville. If you were there, you know what I mean.Reviews for Many Thanks, Part 2
Awh, Scorpius is just too sweet. I imagine sealing wax is tricky than thought! xx

There clearly is some grand mystery behind sealing wax that neither Scorpius nor I quite grasp. Thanks very much for reviewing!
The use of sealing wax in an art in itself. :)
A super gift that his great aunt will surely see he has put to good use.

Scorpius will at the very least write some attractive thank-you notes (and some distracting essays, until his professors ban any-color ink...) Thanks for reviewing!
Sealing wax IS very trick stuff. I should know. My mother yelled at me when I got wax ALL over my schoolbooks. ^_^

Don't I know it! I'm still wondering where the nice, fat, stamp-ready blob comes from; I'm usually left trying to muster a pile of rapidly hardening blips into something large enough upon which to make a suitable impression. Thanks for reviewing!
This series is delightful! And more than a little perturbing, when I consider the many gifts I've sent my nephews with nary a verbal thanks, let alone a thank you note. Thank you for writing!

Thank you most kindly for reviewing! I fear I'm a rather negligent thank-you note writer, myself. I I need to take a leaf from Scorpius' book of manners!
Scorpius received some lovely gifts, even if some are a little tricky.
Response from dracontia (Author of Many Thanks, Part 2)
Yes, there's bit of a learning curve on some of Scorpius' Christmas gifts. (I have vivid memories of wondering where the great, obliging blob of wax was, and what to do with the rising flame and small, rapidly hardening blips, the first time I tried to use sealing wax!) Thanks for reviewing!
