I like how she just jumps in to heal him, and never falters, always knowing what to do. And just when he is put back together, it's time for him to return the favor. They are so gentle in the handling of one another, sometimes physically, always emotionally. Wonderful.

Thank you so much! I really wanted to convey that sense of gentleness. I'm glad you felt it.
Astounding and utterly beautiful. A sonata following a requiem...

Damn, Teddy. This is just as wonderful in this reading as it was the first time I read it. There is something so gentle and safe and loving about this I wish every one could share the same love and trust in their reltionships that Hermione and Severus share in theirs.Very will done, my lovely.Beth

Teddy, this is utter perfection. In the act of healing they are both healed, brought to the certain knowledge that what has gone before no longer holds any power over them. And in each other, they have become beautifully powerful in all the things that matter.Well done, my friend. Beth

A bit weird and yet spot on. I do so love your stories.

Very lyrical and I second the emotion and care that is expressed through Hermione's healing. She's almost saintly, a kind of divine love, but it's earthly, too (they are not inaccessible to each other; saintly as a kind of "giving all of yourself" as something worth giving--Hermione seems to embody this in the way you've written her, in the way she is there for Severus, as seen through his voice). She seems the perfect one to cure him of his insecurities. Then, the turn at the end is both heart-breaking and lovely.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Even though this was written for a kinkfest, the prompter indicated that it was the wrists fetish that was more important to her than the actual sex. The image of his wrists tied with red silk scarves was the first thing I was given, then the rest.
Thie is lovely, lovely, lovely. I particularly like the way she's been healing him, accustoming him to more human contact, and then, as he nears a kind of healing, he begins to heal her. Thank you for posting; this was a sad, but ultimately satisfying story.
