Hermione has indeed physically killed him and she knows how she did it, but she "forgets" it during a few minutes. Reality comes back to her at the end. I don't know what "left field" means but I think it is not positive! lol! In fact, when I wrote it into French, I hesitated to write the last paragraph, I didn't thought it was necessary. But finally I prefer to end the story like this, rather than with "how could I regret to etc...". It was a choice, I don't say it was good ;) Thank you!
