Great story so far.

Sequelllllllll???  I'd forgotten how much I used to be obsessed with Hermione/Draco stories before I discovered Hermione/Snape haha.

The plot thickens. I love the idea of a masquerade ball to get Hermione closer to her admirer. And the journal is a great idea. Something tells me she'll be using it a fair bit.

Confirmare intacta - swish, flick and point. Tip of wand glows to show if unsullied or not.I know how the wantip would glow if cast on Hermione, pure white, pure, untried, virginal intact -- but how would the wandtip glow if the spell was cast on Lavender? Bright scarlet red?  Too bad Hermione didn't know that little spell? Of course it's my gift to you, articcat621I feel sorry for Hermione, but at least her admirer lifted her spirits. House-elf. sent to her room by house-elf. that's my vote.

Girls can be so vicious, little Lav-Lav must be really afraid of Hermione to go after her like that. I hope Ron and Harry will stand up for her this time.

That's Ron alright, all the grace and tact of a flobberworm, and as for Harry he needs to learn to fight words with words, not hexs. Hermione is not to blame for their lack of control.

None of Lavender's assertions are true but baseless lies don't hurt any less. Poor Hermione. At least, so far she seems to have Neville and Ginny on her side along with her secret admirer. Considering that Ron's her brother and how much she likes Harry, though, I have to wonder how long Ginny might hold up against the vicious onslaught that has begun courtesy of Ron's bitchy little girlfriend.

Maybe, hopefully, someone will devise the magical equivalent of super glue to shut Lav-Lav's obnoxious mouth every time she opens it to abuse Hermione. There's Silencio of course but perhaps something that can't be canceled by a simple Finite.

Yeah, that sounds like Ron alright. He'll sit back and lazily watch Lavender trash Hermione to all and sundry without a qualm but once she refuses to back up him and Harry in a lie, Hermione's instantly branded a traitor.

And I'm sure once Lavender knows her Won-Won and Harry are on the outs with her, she won't hesitate to take full advantage and do her level best to make Gryffindor Tower as inhospitable as possible for Hermione.

Poor Hermione. They used to just ignore her and whisper about her, now they are getting downright vindictive. Of course, I've never been a big fan of Lavender anyway. Someone always needed to put her in her place.

Interesting mystery that's been set up. I can definitely see her wanting to get to the bottom of it.

What a fun story. I look forward to more.

Nice to see his plan of charming her to win her over worked. Must have been tough for him to know that there was the chance she would just reject him because of who he is. I think they make a much better couple than Hermione and Ron, of course I think she'd be better off with just about anyone else.

Can't wait to see how he's going to pull this off, with all the" Slytherin Whore" talk still so fresh in Hermione's mind.

Hermione is taking a big chance, anyone could have sent that journal, remember the trouble Ginny got into with a journal.

And the plot thickens. So nice for Hermione to have found someone who actually treats her like a girl. And Ginny made the right choice. Can't wait to see how the first in person meeting goes.

nice start indeed. I hope we also get to hear Dumbledore's announcements. A pity, though, that you gave away who the admirer is in the list of characters. Or at least I think so...Maybe you want to quickly change that to "name withheld"?
