A story of two halves, showing the journey from where we are to where we are going. Professor Snape never wanted an apprentice; Hermione Granger never particularly wanted to be one. But as the old song says, you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need. Rating for later chapters like WHOA.

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen so many innuendos in one chapter. I thought Severus and Hermione would've fooled around a bit at the end of this one. They're completely attracted to each other, but don't think they have a chance for something.

Well, the Clitoris flower is actually a real flower, believe it or not. Couldn't resist that one!
Wow! I frequently skip over WIPs, preferring to read completed fics, but I'm SO glad I didn't skip this, Teddy! I'm loving this fic - your characterizations of Hermione and Severus are unique, but make absolutely perfect sense, and totally fit to their canon characters. It's interesting to be inside Severus' head, even though I keep wanting to reassure him and tell him to quit doubting himself. I do want to disagree with you about one thing - sorry to burst your bubble but this is not a PWP, unless the W stands for 'with'.Captivating story so far, and I can't wait for updates! :)

Thank you, Chris! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I like calling this my 'PWP with legs'. It's going somewhere, but it's a very slow build! LOL
Love the story so far, Hermiones tantrum were long overdue and perfectly written. Hopefully this will help her gain her focus back.

Let's hope so! The story's about to earn its NC-17 rating.
Hmm... titillation by proxy, is it? ;)

Pretty much. After all, this is a PWP! ;)
Wonder how long until the first argument... :)

Shouldn't be too long...
Big decision, when you put it like that! :)

Very true. Seven years is a long time - I know from buying a car...
Love the tone you have set for Severus. :)

Thank you!
Hurricane Hermione! well " it's better out than in " as my mother used to say, she will be better for venting all that anger, and now Severus has her exactly where she wants to be. P.S thank you for the double up date.

Thank you. There really is a clitoris flower called the Bluepea.
Loved the first line, key to every good relationship that. Looking forward to the massage.

It was bliss seeing Hermione tell Harry off.

Sometimes the 'boys' get a little too big for their boots.
Poor Severus, first he over thinks everything, then he reverts to a school boy pulling her pigtails { meterphorically speaking }

I know. Insecurity is an awful thing to deal with.
A beautiful and moving ceremony, beautifully discribed.

Thank you so much!
This is just what Hermione needs, she has always liked the structure and discipline school, knowing where she should be and what she should be doing, this is an just extension of what she already knows.
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Labour of Love)
True - I hope it works out! ;)

Thank you so much!
Another story masterfully written! Thank you! I appreciate the expert pacing of their emotions and the development of their relationship. At first I couldn't imagine how feelings would evolve over a seven-year span, but you have introduced so many emotional issues for each of them, that I will enjoy the full evolution of this story. I'm sorry I didn't find it earlier -- very glad I found it now!
