Hermione would have never been able to replace Crookshanks. Thankfully, it seemed she wouldn't need to.

Reviews for Good Boy
Kneazle owners everywhere must love this story. So sweet and sad.

Thank you! It's for all the Kneazle owners, past and present :) And droxy, who own two, I believe.
Oooooh, creepy.
Response from anoesis (Author of Good Boy)
Very creepy! I can't read it now without being a little scared by it!
Hehe, cute. I liked it. :)

Excellent! Thank you for taking time to review as well!
Loved it, Crookshanks rules:-))

Crookshanks is the best! Thanks for reading :)
This was absolutely purrfect!
I'm glad Crookshanks still takes good care of his human. Good Crooksie.
Response from anoesis (Author of Good Boy)
Yeah, he's not letting her go! She might do something ridiculous like start going out with Ron again if he wasn't there!
Verrrrry spooky, indeed. Seriously, how about a sequel, in which Hermione and ghost!Crooksie go to Hogwarts? I really am curious to see how the Hogwarts ghosts respond to him; they'd remember him from his earthly days.Well done, author!
Response from anoesis (Author of Good Boy)
That's an interesting question... Would they be able to see him? Definitely bears further thought!
Ok, you made me cry, I hope you're happy . Crooks is indeed a good boy.

This one even made me a bit tearful! Although I'm thrilled that it moved you to tears (and awfully apologetic at the same time - sorry!)
Ghost!Crookshanks is a powerful protector! :)
Response from anoesis (Author of Good Boy)
And ever so slightly terrifying!
Good boy, indeed. If anyone believes that cats cannot be extremely loyal and protective creatures, then they've never really known and loved a fine cat.
Response from anoesis (Author of Good Boy)
Oh, he's the best boy! Loyal, protective and rather clever, too!
How interesting! I'm glad Crookshanks decided/was able to stay, even if many humans weren't able to see him. Familiars do seem to stick around. They are so much more than just pets. Thanks for acknowledging them this way.

Cats manage to get everywhere! I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to wiggle into the afterlife, especially if they were half Kneazle. I've always wondered what happened to Crooks after book six, and this is my own little answer.
Having a calico Kneazle of my own, a very special little furry soul, this tale struck a particular chord... Hauntingly beautiful--love the ending, what a wonderful feeling *Crookshanks* guarding her & always her familiar... The detailed, descriptive narrative and spot-on Harry, and Arnold Peake *shudder*--enjoyed the suspenseful dialogue and twists! A wonderful angsty/melancholic mystery!

For some odd reason, I got a bit emotional writing this, although the whole thing was jotted down one morning before work. And the last line still manages to creep me out hugely, even though I wrote it!
I'm super glad you liked it! Thank you again for all your help :)
This story shouldn't be in 'Potions Under Duress'.
