An interesting premise and it'll be full of laughs I should think as Severus proves time and again that he has no concept of the Muggle world other than a view that is 25-30 years out of date.

I read this and immediately decided to do some digging around to see if it had been pre-posted somewhere (a fairly new bad habit of mine). I am so SO happy you decided to post to TPP! I've never really found fic through ffnet that hasn't come about through an author posting here or on Ashwinder, and now that I've started I think that that missing out on this would have been a terrible shame. I hope you keep going--I haven't read on yet, but so far it's a story worthy of as wide a readership as you can make for yourself, so that others can enjoy it as much as I am. It was the perfect escape from dwelling on a long, wearying day, and the humour throughout was a great pick-me-up. Thanks :)

Oh dear, now she's jinxed it. 

I don't know what it is, but a flustered and embarrassed Severus is really cute. I'm glad they're sort of starting to get along. I can only imagine the type of suit Severus would be wearing. He hasn't gone Muggle since the 70s, as Hermione pointed out, and at that time, there were only leisure suits and bell bottoms. And I don't think his father was the type to wear suits, so there really wouldn't be anything lying around.

First chapter? Hmm, hadn't realized it was a new story. Oh well. I liked it so far, so I'm interested to see where it goes, and how many things Snape messes up before he listens to her lol.

Solving the puzzle that is Severus Snape, sounds like something that could take a lifetime or two.

Yes that is the question, isn't it? Why is she  putting herself through all this.

I think Ginny and Lavender know Hermione has deeper feelings for Severus than she's letting on. Hermione may not even be aware of it yet, but the dinner is a good start. I think she was romancing Severus without realizing it. Looking forward to her figuring it out, though.

A delightful start, I'm glad to see a grown up Ron for a change, not that I mind a bit of Ron bashing, but if he and Hermione are just friends then it's a good thing for him not to be an ass.

Mouse! Floppy! I really have to admire Hermione for keeping a straght face, laughter would have wounded Severus and he wouldn't have seen her again. "Surely he can't break it before Monday" it never pays to underestimate Severus Snape.
