Hermione has lost the memories of the last twelve years of her life – she’s forgotten all about her daughter, Rose, or her life with Severus. All she remembers is the rough few years after the war, when she was desperately in love with Ronald Weasley.

Geek girl extrodinare!
I write fan fiction all over the place, a lot of it is archived over at Sycophant Hex, since (as lovely as the Petualnt Poetess is, there's no crossovers allowed) I've been a huge crossover kick lately.
I have no one true pair in Harry Potter. I write Hermione and Snape the majority of the time, but I'm open to anything.
I've loads more fandoms than Harry Potter - far too many to name, so let's just say I'm well rounded, eh? Due to how long it takes me to write, I'm trying not to post things anymore unless they are finished. This includes my current works in progress. Never fear, I've not abandoned a thing, just won't be posting until they're done.
You can always check out my livejournal for the whole geeky scoop on me.

A very nice idea. I like how her journals give us an insight into how she and Snape met. But I'd like more. To me it feels not-finished somehow. And I'd just love a conclusion. Perhaps not that she remembers, but that she fits into life again. And I'd really like to hear more about how she and Rose handle things.
Wonderful story. It doesn't quite feel finished. I wish you gave us a few more of the flashbacks and insight into their lives -- whatever happened with the book? with Rose? did Ron make any more unfortunate appearances in the past? The story does very well as it is on it's own but it leaves me wanting. I really enjoyed the Ron story arc -- how Hermione went from reaching out to him as her crush, and as something familiar and how disappointing the reality was. I also enjoyed the through line of her physical attraction for and comfort around Severus as well as the characterization of the mature and considerate Harry Potter.
Thanks for writing and sharing this lovely story!
When you have Hermione say that Harry showed up with strawberry crepes on her birthday because they were her favorite, the suspicious part of my brain thinks that this was a set up. Someone, who knew this and knew she would combine ingredients to make this dish, devised for it to erase her memories. Perhaps having the heat from the oven trigger it.
Since Ron is the only one with something to gain, my bet is on him. Also he seemed genuinely surprised that Hermione remembers Pansy as if he knew how much of her memory should have been lost.
Just my theory.
Wow, so many wonderful exchange stories I didn't get to read and here they are tempting me. I have a weakness for memory loss stories, and this is one of the best ever. ~smooches~
Nicely written.
