This is the most heartbreaking thing I've read in a long time. I wasn't sure exactly what was going on as I read, but the closer I got to the end, the more the dread of a brutal reality set in. *sigh* This was very well written.
Had me tearing up...
The journey you take us on with this story is relentless, soul-wrenching, and brilliant. I look forward to your next offering. :D

Everytime I read this, I'm stricken with how goddamn sad this is! Fabulous!
I loved this. Very well written. Heartbreaking. I've always been the type that likes a happy ending but this was so perfectly heart wrenching that as I read it through my tears I liked how it ended even if it hurt.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you didn't find it too depressing. There's something inherently tragic in this pairing; it just didn't feel right to end it on a hopeful note.
