I started exploring fanfiction after the depression and withdrawal following the publication of Deathly Hallows. I generally ship Severus and Hermione, but have a fondness for Severus and Minerva.

That's the most nervous part of being a parent: wondering if they've done the right thing. Or in this case, hoping that they've picked a good person for their companionship. But, if you raise them right, the trust comes much easier.

I just reread "When I'm Old and Grey" so I would be up to speed for this little jewel. I love Snape's grumpy-but-totally-devoted-to-Hermione persona here. I hope he's all ready to share "granddaddy" duties with Neville.Beth
