Hermione had always assumed that if the war hadn't defeated her, nothing could. Constantly going in and out of St Mungo’s as a patient with a rare autoimmune disease was not how she would have chosen to spend the six months after Voldemort’s fall.

I read and write fanfiction as a means of procrastination - it's usually much more interesting than anything that comes my way from uni.
At OWL I'm mw8, but on Ashwinder or Fanfiction.net and now here I'm Paisley Snail.

Really enjoying the story and looking forward to more.
Whoa, there's a big gap here:
"Since Hermione and Severus had been the first English visitors to leave the cave, they were surprised to find that they were not alone when they arrived at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. It was only six thirty in the morning, Australian time, but several people
Hermione smiled as they drew nearer to the building – a low-lying structure which seemed to be"
Which wouldn't be an issue except I'm desperate to read what you wrote. :D
It's so wonderful that Severus is able to relax and enjoy himself! Totally bizarre he doesn't immediately realize Hermione is holding his hand. LOL. Wonderful, though. Perhaps he could get used to this.
"If he was in a charitable mood." LOL. Well, maybe he will be given that he seems to be relaxing a little. I can't wait to read more about the aboriginal people as well. Their magic is different.
I can't wait to read more.
I am enjoying this. I look forward to reading more!
oh dear, how awful! Good story so far.
Ah, I love this story! It seems so perfectly in character for Severus to be pacing the room impatiently, anxious to leave and explore the city. I can't wait for the next chapter!
Excellent chapter. I like that their relationship is growing slowly.

Just discovered this story and am really enjoying it so far! I really like your take on the magical equivalent to lupus, and your Minerva was spot on I think with her no-nonsense attitude to Severus' utter dishevelment. Really looking forward to reading more!
They're almost too comfortable with each other now to be true?!
You left out good wishes and a kiss, but I think both of them were perfectly fine with that.
Thanks for sharing this lovely story!
I am in love with your writing style, and I can't wait for the next chapter!
I love where this is going! I do hope Minerva's opinion of Snape improves...
Hermione reacts in the typical way of someone who is used to rely on logic rather than emotions to survive whatever ordeal.
Still I do hope her illness somehow turn out to be something different than a chronic auto immune disease. And I am also wondering if it has some hidden meaning that it is an auto immune disease. More questions than answers at this moment, but truly an intriguing start.
I think what Hermione went thru is rather iconic for someone who has just been diagnosed with 'it' (whatever 'it' may be). Nice start. Interested to see where it goes.

Thinking it must be sure problems- the arrow button on your chapter selection bar said there was another chapter, but it just takes you to a blank chapter with the review box at the bottom. Weird. Anyways, assuming I didn't miss out on a chapter ten somewhere, I liked the story overall.
Hmm.. Not sure if it's site problems or what, but chapter ten is missing when I try to go on from chapter 9. All that's left is 11/epilogue. Odd.
