Reviews for A Confusion of Corpses
Molly seem to be of with the fairys, but she can still take care off little ones. Looking forward to seeing where this leads.
Well, that makes sense, then. Moody was always intensely suspicious of Snape and if he thought Snape was alive, he would do everything in his power to bring him to (his idea of) justice. And trying to "haunt" him while Polyjuiced as Dumbledore fits with the booby trap Moody left behind at Grimmauld Place too. At any rate, I doubt very much if Snape is really Moody's killer. But if someone found out that Moody survived the war and was posing as Dumbledore... well, I imagine that Moody had made more than his fair share of enemies over the years.

You might know Snape better than that, but does the Ministry?
Response from MuseAmusant (Reviewer)
Given the Ministry's track record, that's an unequivocal no.

Ahhh, this is absolutely riveting! Was Moody being truthful when he told Molly that there was a Death Eater basically stalking him and that's why he remained incognito, or was he merely saying that in the hopes that Molly would drop the subject and keep his secret, all while he stalked Snape? What's with the Dumbledore disguise? Was he planning on confronting Snape as Dumbledore, in some sick attempt to shame Snape further? Or was the disguise administered by the murderer? Was it a homicide? So many questions! And although it may be a bit creepy, I wouldn't mind getting to poke around a bit in a Snape-shrine!

I guess we'll never know now. ~cackles gleefully~

Lol! P.S. - I love your CSI!Hermione. She straddles both the magical and Muggle worlds beautifully (and efficiently!).

Thank you. By book 7 Hermione was kicking some serious wizarding butt. I imagine she only got better.

From one corpse to another and then to a third (or is it?) *grin* I would imagine, as paranoid as Moody was, the Death Eater he was supposedly hiding from was Severus, yes? Or was he actually stalking Severus and told Molly a fib about being in hiding? The evidence seems to support the latter idea. ^_^

Who can say? Moody was a few fries short of a happy meal even before I got my hands on him. :-D

So Molly's cheese is slipping off her cracker and someone just offed someone skulking about Knockturn dressed as Albus Dumbledore. Sounds like... er, fun? A most intriguinging start, for sure.

And I apparently can't spell tonight. "Intriguing". Bah!
Response from Owlbait (Author of A Confusion of Corpses)
Hee hee :) Yes, things are going to get chaotic pretty quickly. Welcome aboard.

Let's see. Hermione's reading a journal about the effects of Polyjuice and death. Molly's acting like she has Alzheimer's or dementia. Someone posing as Albus just killed someone I would assume might be a former Death Eater. Interesting start. ^_^

From here it just gets complicated :o)Oh, btw, Albus is the murderee, not the murderer. I must have been fuzzy in the language, but it will be quite clear in the next chapter.

Is the bracelet turning Molly's head, or is it a red herring? And polyjuice plus an Albus look-alike, what a great start. five stars.

gah, all the best stories leave off like this! :( please tell me you'll update soon (or at least message me the gist of the rest of the story if it's been abandoned?) :) I'd love to see where this ends up going!
Hmm, not really sure what the grey haired old man and the scenes with Hermione have in common, but it's an interesting story so far!
