Reviews for Journey of Darkness
You raise an interesting point, the gang of bullies roaming the hall of Hogwarts, are the Griffindors not the Slytherins. The incident where Sirius Black almost kills Severus by trying to feed him to the werewolf, set the seal on my contempt for Dumbeldor. At the very least Black should have been expelled, for his cowardly act betrayal and attempted murder, but no not even a slap on the wrist, and Severus the victim in all this, is left owing a life debt to the leader of the pack of bullies. I hope you will finish this one some day.
Yeah I can definitely see Severus doing that. Thank goodness he was appalled by horcruxes
What a promising start!!

You are going to finish this one, aren't you? Or I might have to come over there and smack you upside the head (as you charming Americans are wont to say). Oh, hang on, I am coming over there. I can get in a pre-emptive strike! :P

Yes, yes, I'm going to finish it. I'm just waiting for JK to tell us what the "horrible act" is that makes a Horcrux. Really. It's all on her.

You know, I'm inclined to think Voldie was just an old pervert and went round naked under his robes flashing his wrinklie bits at everyone. THAT'S what made the Horcruxes. Souls fleeing from the sight!

Very compelling and powerful, indeed. The character voice - a young man, still impressionable, but driven by his own desires: a need for revenge and for knowledge/experimentation - was so realistic and so Snape at the same time. Looking forward to reading more!

i like this. you make severus into a human being instead of a cartoon, and i like the idea that he self-educates about horcruxes; that always bothered me in the books - OF COURSE he would've known about horcruxes, he was severus snape for gods sake! anyway, well done, it drew me right in.

Thank you, nice lady. Yeah, that was the genesis of the story - Severus was once just a boy who was getting pushed around and the comment is made that he knew more dark curses when he got to Hogwarts than anyone else. Thank you for the review.

Oh, this looks like it's going to be a wonderful story! I especially love the presentation of a more innocent and impressionable Severus throwing up in reaction to Dark Magic, yet pressing on with curiousity and hunger for useful knowledge. Please tell me that you'll be able to finish this incredibly interesting beginning!
