This was a bang up wonderful chapter, brandy.  I love the way I loiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie the idea of the two of them starting a charity for the orphaned children to be able to buy what they need to have while they complete their education.  And I really adore that they have "officially" begun calling each other by their given names.  It's about time.This is just my kind of SS/HG story.  I wonder if Severus might ever decide to take up Minerva's offer to teach at Hogwarts again?  I can think of a certain wich and Potions mi of professor who would love to go with him

Good to see Snape is true to his character here. But also good to see they are acting like colleagues now too.

Why in the world would he be so callous to her, when she was only trying to make small talk? Oh, let me guess, because he can. Because he's Snape. But if he were that nasty to everyone, Hermione wouldn't have gotten the recommendations from others. Apparently he does work well with others, just not with her.

Yes!  A new project for Hermione and Severus to work on- I like it!!!  I think Remus' journal will be very helpful for them as they began their collaboration on a cure for Lycanthropy.Having the kind of detailed notes that Remus kept should really help them tailor there research.  It appears that he made detailed notes of the symptoms he had at each stage throughout the month, so having that understanding from start to finish is a boon.  Perhaps there will be an early step in the course of the month that they can target that will lead to a cure for the disease.Great idea!  Brilliant actually.Beth
