Lovely writing, but you should probably put up an MPreg warning......itns not a pleasant surprise.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Thank kindly you for reviewing. I understand that it is not to everyone's tastes, but I'm afraid that it would essentially gut the story to place the largest twist out in the open from the beginning. [And I like to think that writing the 'I don't normally read _____, but...' story is my fanfiction niche.]
Helicopters! I love that wink to canon!
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Since this was written for a Canon fest--and in light of where I knew I was going with the story--I figured I needed to sneak in all the canon bits I could manage to keep the Mods happy before dropping the bomb.

The idea of an actual family tree is fascinating!
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Thank you! That was one of those ideas that sort of dropped on me out of nowhere--like the Jarvey. (Alas, there is no tree icon... but there is one that's approrpiate for a jarvey... )

Draco isn't going to make this easy...
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
'Draco' and 'easy' have never got along together.

Oh my god - Harry's robe Transfiguration - what a tart! Poor Draco doesn't seem to know what just hit him :)
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
It does make one wonder how they teach Concealment and Disguise, doesn't it? (Draco went straight to his lab afterward to find out whether he'd been brewing potions with proper ventilation!)

Wow, Naricissa will go to any length to make her son happy!
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
There are no lengths to which Narcissa would not go

Ah, remembering a life debt to a Malfoy would cause anyone stress - I wonder what she'll demand?
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
They make other debt collectors look downright cuddly!

Very nice, lovely to see the sisters reunited, and Teddy so happy.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Thank you very much! I couldn't let the chanve go by to reconcile the last of the Blacks.

Lucius is a pitiful figure, but it is Narcissa and Draco I feel sorry for.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
It's never the sinner who suffers so much as those around them, is it? Thanks very much for reviewing, and good night for now! (Have an unfortunate number of non-writing related things to do come morning...)

The tree is a beautiful idea. Ok, I give in - I DO feel sorry for Lucius Malfoy. Dammit!!
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Thank you! I had to imagine that the Manor was full of curiosities, and that was one that I could imagine wasn't dastardly. (Speaking of dastardly... yes, Lucius has become pitiful even beyond what he might well deserve for his misdeeds.)

I'm really loving Harry and Draco's interactions - the perfect combination of snark and vulnerability
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Thank you kindly! I confess, these two are often my excuse to indulge in snark.

Well that meeting went well!
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Any meeting between these two that doesn't end in legal or medical intervention should be counted a success.

Good grief! That Narcissa is a piece of work. I'm looking forward to Harry's reaction to Draco when they meet up again.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Narcissa has never had any problem with demanding the unreasonable from the unwilling in order to protect her baby. <---don't I know it...(I promised I'd get back to replying... I'm afraid a couple hundred square feet of flooring got in the way, so I'm a few days late.)

Poor Harry, he is still living in fear. Does Ginny know how stressed he is?
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
It would be giving the game away to reveal who knows what... thanks for reviewing!

Goodness Harry seems to be a half step away from a mental meltdown. What are the odds Narcissa has something nice planned? Not very I'll betcha.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Poor Harry--he just can't seem to stop landing in, well, situations. I suppose caculating those odds depends on who is defining 'nice...' Thanks for reviewing!

Tease... ;)
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Didn't realize that you were so much of a slash fan ^_^
The family tree is a lovely idea. Wonder if Lucius can be helped? :)
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
If you think a jarvey is hard to get rid of once it gets into your head, try uprooting a tree. You can't even argue with a bloody tree... Well, I suppose you can, but you look silly and the tree doesn't give a toss.Thank you for popping by to check on Lucius--he could probably do with a visit from a Healer. ^_^
So Ginny knows he is gay. Plot thickens. :)
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
Plot thickens. :)Like the pea soup at the Leaky Cauldron... ^_^
_I'm_ starting to feel stressed and I'm just reading it! I don't suppose Harry can just ignore Narcissa's note? No, of course not.
Response from dracontia (Author of Zin)
'Fraid not, mate. Take a deep breath and a soothing beverage if applicable and enjoy the next chapter!
Happy to wait

I wasn't going to care for this... my Harry and Draco are generally straight - but I'm having way too much fun here !! Who knew Harry was such a tease... and our darling blonde - he hasn't a prayer does he - not that he actually cares to have one... although some "oh gods" do seem in order.
