Perhaps Crooks will find a way to play matchmaker before it is too late, lol. Kitties and babies are the best things to snuggle with. Although some would argue that Snape belongs at the top of that list. :)

I understand Severus completely, I too have a deep and abiding love for Crookshanks, and I'm sure he will find his way back to Severus' bed, { wouldn't you

how did I overlook this when it posted? I suspected crooks all along, but couldn't have hoped for dialog like Ron and Snapes.

I really enjoyed this! Very clever, well-written, and entertaining. I, like the others, also appreciated the surprise twist (I'm sorry, I just can't be that open-minded with those two characters together lol). Great job!

Thank you for such a nice review! There is a reason that I didn't actually write them together, LOL. Severus with Crookshanks makes people say, "Awwwww." Severus with a Weasley makes people vomit. :)
Wonderful! I was prepared for it to be Ron and sort of not minding because I was loving Snape's dialogue and his inner thoughts so much. But it was a much nicer surprise to find that Crookshanks was the object of his affections.

Yay! I love to hear that you didn't think it was Crooks from the first moment. Was that a request for Snape with Fred or George? hmmm ... Just kidding. I don't think I have it in me to write that. As for Hermione finding the right man, you seem to be on the same wavelength with everyone. :)
Your Snape and Crooks make worthy companions. Give them a bit more time and they'll get Hermione sorted out.

Well,yes, the four of them work well together. Ron can babysit Crooks while Snape and Hermione go out on the town. Or is it Crooks babysitting Ron? Hmmm ...
