Oh my goodness - I understand Severus' concerns - who wouldn't, but his mind is racing off with him - I call it the "snowball" effect - scary it is - easy to let get away - I'm concerned - concerned for Severus but of course, mostly for that wonderful man in the purple robes.... *bites nails some more*Very good writing in relaying the anxiety building up in Severus' mind - it flows well and is quite tangible, I can easily see and feel that snowball tipping over the hill and picking up speed - turning into a boulder. Good job!

Thank you. I'm so glad it's OK; took me AGES to write! Poor Severus is panicking rather.
A very interesting chapter - being as I'm a huge Dumbledore lover - I must read on! *bites nails*
