WOw, what research went into this one! 
I'm totally agog! How did you pick it all up?? Gorgeous story, btw! And gorgeous illustration to match! I loved the idea of Severus singing to Hermione....This Severus doesn't have classes to hypnotize with his voice, so singing is a great way to keep the same vibe!

Thanks a lot! Really, this came out quite spontaneously after reading Anubis Ankh's prompt... In fact, I started writing it on the same day I received my assignment. The Egyptian part of it is completely invented, and I simply threw in a bit of Spenser that I recalled studying. I'm so glad you liked it
