Geek girl extrodinare!
I write fan fiction all over the place, a lot of it is archived over at Sycophant Hex, since (as lovely as the Petualnt Poetess is, there's no crossovers allowed) I've been a huge crossover kick lately.
I have no one true pair in Harry Potter. I write Hermione and Snape the majority of the time, but I'm open to anything.
I've loads more fandoms than Harry Potter - far too many to name, so let's just say I'm well rounded, eh? Due to how long it takes me to write, I'm trying not to post things anymore unless they are finished. This includes my current works in progress. Never fear, I've not abandoned a thing, just won't be posting until they're done.
You can always check out my livejournal for the whole geeky scoop on me.

Honestly, I couldn't finish reading this. I know fanfic adores having these two fight, fight, fight, however the premise you set up isn't believable. That he willingly works for Harry is OOC - AND he tries to dictate who else gets hired? Sorry, not believable.

People change... and in my head, the only person who would hire Snape would be Harry - when it comes to surviving, people do a lot of things they wouldn't normally do. And it isn't a matter of dictating who else gets hired... more a matter of him running weak willed people off. But again, your choice to read or not.And seriously, in what reality is fan fiction believable?
Thanks! That was lovely. But somehow I want more...

Thank you... and honestly, with as much time as I have to write lately, I'm just glad I was able to come up with this much.

Considering the amazing generosity of all you fanfic authors, we should all just be grateful really. That was honest feedback though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Great!! I loved how Ron, even though dead, was not portrayed as a stupid jerk. And how Hermione came to see what had become of her life. And Severus' reluctance to believe anything could be "good" for him (but happily capped off with overcoming that reluctance) Just a sweet, wonderful story to read. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you.
This was wonderful. There are too few stories with a grown-up Hermione.

Just as well he came to his senses! :)

All the best Snape and Hermione stories make him do so... he is a rather intelligent man (in most stories).
Awesome story! Very much in character for all involved. Great job.

I liked everything about this story except for the sex. And coming from a smut lover like myself is really unusual! I think it was rushed. I've never just went from having a really close guy friend to having feelings about him to having sex with him in a matter of weeks. And being that Hermione is older, and has children and has had children, I don't know if she would either. I think she would have analyzed the whole idea of starting a relationship with him to death before she even had sex with him. And I don't know if Severus would ever do casual sex. It sure doesn't seem like he would in Canon! Besides, Severus has baggage - one of which is a self-defeatist attitude. Don't you think he would have been worried that she was just using him as a replacement for Ron since she hasn't had a relationship for a while? They didn't even discuss that. That's why I don't know if I like the sex. It almost seemed perfunctory. I really just skipped over that part of the story. It didn't seem to be necessary to the storyline, and I didn't expect it at that stage of their relationship. But the rest of the story - for as short as the chapters were, seemed amazingly concise and complete! I didn't feel that the story in any way was missing details. Some stories are so overly detailed they almost tell you everytime the character takes a pee - but this was perfectly executed just the way you had it! Congratulations on this work of art! Congratulations to your Beta team too, because it really shows the craftsmanship to get it right in a limited space *which can be a bear to do!*

Hmmm I guess it all depends on perspective. As a widow myself, I approach sex a lot differently now than I did when I was single, so I used that mind set for this stories sex scene. I don't think Canon Snape would do any sort of sex at all - he wouldn't really have had the time, and if he had, it would've come with all sorts of guilty complex complications, so I can see that as a fair point.
This is the second time I have read this and I just love this story and the way you portrayed both Severus and Hermione. I really liked how you had Rose and Hugo discuss Hermione's relationship with Ron. I think it is actually adorable that Rose and Scorpius would be together. I love a happy ending, :-)
