I'm a middle-aged, professional writer of non-fiction and would-be professional writer of fiction who also writes Harry Potter fanfiction just for fun.
I’m a proud member of the Harry Potter Old Lady Smut Brigade, which means I’m most interested in the older female characters in the Harry Potter saga, particularly Minerva McGonagall.
If I had received my Hogwarts letter back in nineteen-mumble-mumble, I would most likely have been sorted into Ravenclaw, or so everyone tells me, probably because I’m a geeky data-freak (my Real Life™ requires me to read piles of medical journal articles.) I, however, think I’d feel right at home in Hufflepuff too, so I consider myself a Ravenpuff.
The fics I write may contain adult themes, and I will always warn for non-con, graphic violence, bestiality, incest, or underage sex. I don't warn for homosexual relationships or sex, or for threesomes/moresomes, unless they contain one of the aforementioned elements.

I have a blog: http://squibstress.wordpress.com/.
I'm also on LiveJournal and Twitter (@Squibstress).
I maintain a master list of (mostly Minerva-centric) recs at Diigo.

Reviews for The Birthday Gift
*snip*"No, thank you, my love. My taste runs to other Scottish delicacies," he said, circling a spoonful of marmalade with his tongue with exaggerated lasciviousness before depositing it on his toast.I must admit, this sentence confuses me - is he sticking his tongue in the jar of marmalade?

As promised, I am including some of the lines I especially loved... *snip*She didn't trust the glint in his eyes—not at all.

*snip*"Correct in one, Professor McGonagall," Albus said. "It's rather a relief that you recognised it immediately, I must say.""And is this item to be placed on my desk in order that I might be reminded of you during the day?" she enquired.*laughing my arse off*

*snip*By this point, she decided, she would be delighted were he to walk through her door, strip her without ceremony, and shag the life out of her, and to hell with dinner. All I can say to that is OH YUMMM!
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
*snip*After the waiter had poured their wine—a 1989 Meursault—Albus asked, "So, how was your day, my dear.""Frustrating. As you well know."The understatement of the century.

*snip*I will kill him if he stops now.*smirks*

*snip*What is he up to now?Tee hee!
MMMMMMMMMMMM, I'm too tired to go into detail oh what exactly all the reasons were that made me love this piece, but suffice it to say, there are plenty - and I mean plenty.I do remember loving the comedy - the irony and especially the teasing - love it! When I'm far more awake and coherant, I'll write more@asws

OK - so I read the review below this - seems strange that folks find it normal that Minerva can lead a war to save the wizarding world, but to have energetic sex is beyond strange for a witch in her 70s.... yeah...SO! This story - love the attention Albus pays to Minerva to give her a wonderful birthday celebration - even if he is being horribly sadistic - for a wee bit at least, but creative none the less - and while you label this story as pure smut for the sake of smut, I see quite a bit of kindness and love in it - and I find it just as emotionally warm as I do sensually HOT!My faovite bit about the story - well its not a bit - more of an idea or subject - is how Minerva banters (even if its just in her mind) at Albus - especially when he leaves her to go meet with the minister after inserting his special surprise - that had me grinning! Tee hee.... Albus can be so wicked!
She jumped his bones while they were both standing at the door and wrapped her legs around his waist, and she's 70 years old??? LOL! I must be getting old myself, I read a great smutty story, and that's the only thing that jumps out at me!
