Hello!Thank you for the review.  Melodia felt that she had no choice.  He would have continued to come around and try to see her.  She had told him before that she was not interested in him that way, but he wanted to be friends anyway.She didn't want to hurt him, so she thought it best if he found someone else, and did not remember her at all.  Taking his memory of her was a last resort, but in the end it was the merciful thing to do.That is why she was so upset.  After his passionate kiss, she felt she truly had no choice.  Besides, if he kept coming around, it could have put him in danger as well.  There are 30 more chapters I have yet to post.  I hope you see why it was necssary for him to forget her and her home.  I think you will.Please keep reading!  The fun is just beginning!Thanks again!

Hello!Thank you for your review!  To answer your questions, I will start with the first one:Melodia did care for this man, because he had been a friend to her and her Muggle family for several years.  Her heart belongs to Severus, but she values this man's friendship and company.  Because of this, she had no problem leading him the garden for tea, stopping short of inviting him inside.Only Dumbledore and Severus were in the house, and with her uncle sick, she knew that Drake wouldn't see him.  As far as Snape, she didn't foresee him watching them so closely.  I am sure that she felt that if he seen someone with her that he didn't know, he would not make his presence known, which he didn't.Melodia was simply behaving the way she always had with Drake to keep him from being suspicious of any sudden change.  Like I said, she really liked this man, in a "close friend" type of way, and didn't mind the small kiss.  It was apparently the way he had always behaved with her, and although she was not completely comfortable with it, she realized then that she would need to come up with a plan to discourage him permanently, without hurting him.  She also had not decided what to do about the possibilty of Drake showing up randomly at that point.  Chapter 5 explains her solution to this.My next chapter needs some improvments before I post it, but if you think he was jealous in this one, just hold on to your hat!I believe that you will enjoy what comes next!Please review me often, and tell anyone that you know who reads it, that I value any and all feedback.Thanks again!
