I am an avid Harry Potter fan. I am currently discovering the pleasure of writing my own fan fiction.
I am pragmatic person who yearns to be an optimist, but I know better. I think maybe I am related to Severus.
Northwest born I now live in the midwest.

Such a delightful story. I love the thought of Hermione honouring Severus by making the family recipes (I love to cook - and eat!).

Well, Irish... I definitely enjoyed, now that I got to finish it. I am going to start reading more SS/HG now... It's a different side of Snape. Thanks. Now I want some tiramisu!

As someone who loves to bake, and loves SS/HG, this was perfect!! My mouth was watering as I read your descriptions of the food - scrumptious!

LOL you and I would get along VERY well indeed. Baking is a hobby and stress relief and I am pure SSHG!Thanks for the review!
Lovely - and thanks for providing Severus a Greek background, it seems fitting indeed. I loved the calm moments on the sofa, and the fact that there was understanding before everything else.(As an Italian, I would ask you why did you include sugar in the bread recipe.)Also another question: you did write that "No one had seen him since the night of the Ministry Awards Ceremony honoring the heroes of the war.He had come, accepted the award as his due, and left before the orchestra had even finished setting up."So why people would presume him dead? He had surely survived Nagini.I mean no disrespect, I'm just puzzled.

This is a time period after the war and in my mind he was ill at the banquet. As this was originally a drabble there are some things that are not clearly explained. As to the sugar... my grandma's recipe. Thanks for the review.
A beautifully told story :)))

LOL This was written over a year ago! I have just been extremely laxed in getting it posted here. Thank you for the lovely review.
I don't think I'll ever have the patience to be a from-scratch chef like Hermione is, but it's wonderful to read how food brought the two of them together.
Response from irishredlass (Author of Epicurean Delights)
LOL it does take patience, but it is also very soothing and relaxing. Baking bread is one of my favorite stress reliefs. Thanks for the review!
