This is the prequel to "Rain" and might explain why Snape was crying. If he cried.

Reviews for One Day, One Room
I won't say that I shed a tear but I was close. I hope little Rose takes more after her mother or there will be questions. And maybe one day she will be free to leave Ron and be happy with Severus.

Actually, I planned to solve the whole mess at the little girl's christening. But - somehow I never managed to write that story, so sorry for that. But yes, in the end, she will leave Ron. Of course she will! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I don't want this to be a one shot! Can it be more? Do I get a vote? Oh you could make the angst go on for at least 10 more chapters. I know you could!
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
*lol* I am much better with one-shots, dear. The sequel is "Rain", and the sequel to that one I never managed to write. Sorry about that. But rest assured that in the end, all would have been well...Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, and sorry for the late response!
This fic makes my heart ache. How completely sad. No wonder he is crying in the next one. Does he find out the truth? How would that change things? What happens if the child is born with straight black hair and grows a big nose in a couple of years? Will Ron figure things out? This has angst and disaster written all over it.
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
Thanks for reaviewing, dear. I wanted to write a sequel, one that ties things up. But right now, I don't have the time for it, sorry. But yes - Ron will figure it out. Somehow ;-)
That was brutal; loved the POV of the hotel owner, though. Is this complete? (Hopefully not) Thank you!
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
I wanted to write a sequel, I swear. But I didn't do it. Maybe... sometime. So yes, for now it is complete. And surely one of the very few stories one might call canon-compliant...Thanks for reviewing!
Ooh this looks interesting. When I saw the title, I thought "Surely I've already read this," until I remembered that it was the title of an episode of House. That was an excellent episode. Off to read "Rain".
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
:-) I didn't even remember where I got the title from until I read my own A/N - it's been a while since I had a look at the story. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I suspect, lovely writer, that you must agree to the ravings of your readers and bring resolution to this tale... real life would leave our tortured hero in the rain, without the love of family and friends BUT this is fiction, damnit.... so please FIX IT !!! Ahem... will now return to lurking.... and writing my own angst... t'was a pleasure to visit yours.
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
Ahhh. Well.I wanted to write a sequel. In fact, I know very well how this story continues/ends. But. I don't have the time right now. Read any of my other fics (most, anyway) and you'll find a proper ending, and usually a happy one. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
But... but... You can't do that, woman! :p
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
*snigger* A sad ending. Nothing I write often. But here, it seemed appropriate. And it is sort of canon compliant. Am I good or what ;-)Thanks for reading, dear!
No. No, no, no, no. I refuse to let him leave and not fight for his family. Just no. This was too powerful a story, painting a picture ripe with detail that speaks of islands of hope. I'm not giving up on the hotel with its owner, cook and maid. They are the guardians, full and real. And I refuse to let Severus walk out and never come back.Just, no.
Response from chivalric (Author of One Day, One Room)
Ok. I don't have the time to write the sequel I had in time for that one. But I'll tell you that it would have had a happy ending. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Response from nata (Reviewer)
Thank you. There is no need for a sequel, because this story is powerful on its own. I do not like the gravity of the ending, thus the refusal, but I love the story and the strength of emotions it carries.
