Harry and Ron play ding-dong-dash, and Lucius uses that to his advantage.

Reviews for The Gift That Keeps On Giving
That was fantastically funny! You very nearly had me feeling sorry for Voldemort. That's talent!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
That's a fantastic review; I always have trouble thinking of myself as a comedic sort of writer. Thank you so much for the compliment, and for taking the time to read and review! XD

*lol* Great, funny story! Thanks for sharing, dear. And I so much would love to see Voldy and Lucius share a bed, should you ever be in the mood to continue that line of thought...
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure if the humor would come through on the page! And I thought the image of Voldie and Lucius was best left to the naughty minds of the readers, LOL! I am sure you could come up with a far better scenario than I could!
"made with such love" - I think you left out the cracktastic ending where consumption destroys Voldemort, or at least causes him terrible pain. Very enjoyable, especially like Lucius recognizing the fruitcake.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
Hehe, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I skipped the ending, where we might have to have witnessed an NC-17 scene with Voldie and Lucius that would have given us all heartburn, fruitcake or not. *winks* Thanks so much for reading, I really appreacite it!
Very amusing! I wonder how old that fruitcake of Molly's really is? By the way, for some reason, in my mind your Voldemort's voice sounded a bit like John Cleese.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
John Cleese? *dies laughing* That's too funny! Now that you say that, I'll never read this the same way. I love it!Thanks so much for reading, and for your review. It gave me the giggles!
Theheh, that was seriously funny!!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
Why, thank you! I don't usually go for humor, so this was a fun change. Thanks very much for reading!
Hmm... bad luck? A new ironic way to kill off Moldy Voldie. Because you know he's gonna throw out that fruitcake!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
I'm just glad that I'm not standing in Lucius shoes, I can tell you that. *shivers* Thanks so much for reading, I know this was a weird one!
Voldy and Lucius? ugh. Please erase that image from my brain I'm gonna have nightmares! And I wish you all good for the New Year.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
Well, to be fair, Lucius was trying to placate him with a fruitcake. I'm not sure how well that went over. You notice I ended the story before we had to find out. *winks* And a happy new year to you, as well!
"I'm not a member of some underbelly thug organization!" Poor, deluded Voldie. Um... that was... unique. Yes, that's it... unique! :P

Oi! I saw what quaffie wrote. Mental note - don't eat anything she brings in this week.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
"Unique" is a pretty kind thing to say! I swear, I don't know what happened to me. My brain cracked under the pressure, and this is the result. I'm glad you were nice about it, though. Thanks for reading, as always. (and congrats on being top #1 reviewer!)
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
Thanks! I'd better watch that quaffie though, she's gone mad on reviews lately.
My dear, dear Keppiehed. I can sense your unease at writing this thing that is "unmitigated weirdness and crack." To show you my support, and let you know that the greatest minds go bonkers at Christmas, might I offer you this crack!review (to the tune on Jingle Bells) *clears throat*:Reading through this fic,it almost made me cry.Not 'cause it was real bad, but from laughter I might die.A food that Ron won't eat,It almost breaks the plate.Let's leave it on the Malfoy porch and run awayThat's great!Oh, this was fun, this was good. Guess I need another verse about this Dark Lord dude.Sorry Mr. Wolf, that you don't want to work, but you signed up although you knew that Voldie was a jerk.Oh, Lucius you are doomed.I hope you have good luck,You want to give him a fruitcakeand he just wants to *beep*Oh, you have donea nice jobmaking my sides ache.Headed to the clearance rack to pick up a fruit ca-akeWrap it up for Voldemortthen drop it in the mail.Hope that he can use the thing to fi-le -down- his- nailsThe end!Seriously, funny stuff. I wish you wrote humor more often as it always comes out well!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
OMG!!! Talk about wetting yourself. That's just about what happened when I read your songfic. I was cackling away. You are delightful! This was such a treat! Look at you and your wit. Next year I demand that you sign up for the mini_fest, too. There aren't enough humor entries out there. Just think, we could take them by storm!Oh, man, my sides are aching. I still have tears in my eyes, I'm not kidding you. Now THAT'S the way to start the morning: with a really good laugh from a friend. Thanks for giving me a great start to my day!
Thanks for starting the year with a bit of laughter. I think I found that fruitcake at the back of our pantry when I was cleaning out the kitchen the other day. Have crumbled it up in to the fruit mince pies - don't tell sunny!Wishing you all the best for the coming year.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
I'm glad I could make you smile with this; I don't wirte humor much, so I wasn't sure if it came through. I haven't been online much or even writing. It's been so crazy lately. I really hope to do more this year. I hope that your new year is starting well for you, and that you have all good things to come. And thanks for always taking the time to read!

Well done! Well done!! You really made me laugh with that one!
Someone needs to introduce nail clippers to the Wizarding World!
Author's Response: I was totally burned out about 2 months ago when I had to submit this, which is why it had that crack-iness about it. I'm not sure why I chose to go in that direction, but I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for reading!
Hahaha! So randomly funny. I quite enjoyed this little cracklet. It certainly brought a smile to my face.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of The Gift That Keeps On Giving)
*laughs* Well, I'm glad I could make you smile. Thanks so much for reading it!
