I'm a fifty-year-old working mom and wife.  I discovered HP fanfiction late in 2007 and fell in love.  My favorite pairing is SS/HG, but I also enjoy stories featuring the triumvirate of Slytherin bad boys:  Severus, Lucius and Draco!

Check it out! I have shiny banners!

He really must be tired if he fell asleep before consumating his return. Heeee!

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

I like to think that Hermione is just so skillful in taming the savage beast within him.  She turned him into a boneless buritto wrapped in a duvet.  Yum. Thanks for the lovely stars, my friend.

Yippee ki yay, indeed.  Lordy, this was fun!  Somehow I really identify with Hermione and that Yankee Potions mistress.  Hummmmmmm... I wonder why?  I want to thank Hermione for defending me... err, the Yankee, to Severus.  I'm sure she meant no disrespect.  It's just so hard to keep a good idea to yourself when you're a committed "hand-waver."  *clears throat* I am so honored to have this story written for me, and I'm grateful for everything the admins at TPP do for the authors and readers who benefit so much from this archive.  I am equally grateful to the wonderful authors who post their stories here for our enjoyment.  Thank you all!Beth

SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!  I bet you could hear that all the way to the east coast.  I'm so glad you liked your story.  I had a lot of fun writing it, especially those parts where Severus rants and raves and Hermione sets him straight.  He's so irritable.  And your prompt just begged for a little character substitution.  Hope you didn't mind that.  Thanks once again for being not only a frequent reviewer but a supportive and thoughtful one, too.  It's readers like you, Beth, that keep the authors motivated and feeling good.  Happy New Year!

Delightful story.  I particularly enjoyed Hermione's Severus imitation, along with Severus's eventual description of how and why he left the conference.  Very nice! :)

Thanks for reading and reviewing,

!  Severus is one touchy wizard.  One never knows what will set him off, but Hermione sure knows how to soothe him.

HeHe!  :)  Is the song title an hoage to Cole Porter or Rachel Sweet?

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

That would be Cole Porter.  I'm a lover of the classics, and he wrote it.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.

This was such fun. Hermione's impression of Snape was hilarious. Bless that cranky Potions master! Very well done.

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

Luckily for Hermione, she's the one person who doesn't annoy Severus even when she's poking fun at him.  Well, she doesn't annoy him too much, we hope.  Glad you liked this story.  Thanks for reading and reviewing,

Oh how lovely!  *pets poor sleeping SeverusThe scene is so well set, that even though there isn't anything explicit in the content - it definitely is erotic, and happily so.  Beffeysue is a lucky (and deserving) girlie.

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

This was fun for me to write.  And as much as Hermione knows how to soothe his savage breast (tee hee), the teasing was irresistible.  Glad you enjoyed, AV.

There are so many things about this story that made me smile, I can hardly list them all.But Molly being a published author is just something I have to point out.Snape's reaction to a suggestion is so typically ... Snape. Good thing Hermione knows ways to decompress him.

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

Yay, apisa! So glad you like this.  Yeah, Snape is so easily ticked off, but Hermione won't validate his annoyances.  But she'll have fun kissing his virtual boo boos.  Molly is an unsung hero, isn't she.

I so want that book she was reading! Poor Sev, falling asleep before the main course! :)

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

Yay, Sunny!  If she had written a such a book, it would be a best seller.  Or maybe she would be writing bodice-ripping novels?  Poor Hermione and Severus.  Neither gets to experience the ultimate step in Operation: Decompression.  I'm sure there will be lots of lemons in their future.  Thanks for reading and reviewing, Sunny, and encouraging the authors on TPP.

Severus Snape is such a baby!  Scared off by Beth some young potions mistress, LOL.  Leave it to him to go AWOL on a conference that doesn't go his way.I love that Hermione's idea of decompression has multiple steps, but Severus just wants to jump to the grand finale.  Then he falls asleep.  Poor guy.Clairvoyant-thanks for a fun storybraye27-happy reviewing in 2011And to both-Happy New Year!

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

Oh, that Severus!  Why do we love that prickly, uncompromising man so much?  Because he's brave, loyal, sarcastic and shmexy as all get out, that's why!  And we love Hermione for her exacting nature, support of the underdog, and loyalty to her man.  But sometimes, they both lose out on the lemons.   Thanks for reading and reviewing... all your thoughtful, wonderful reviews to all the authors on TPP,

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

.  Happy New Year to you, too!

How wonderful!  This had so much fluffy win, but my brain keeps going back to this: A Hundred and One Household Spells for the Domestically Challenged Witch by Molly Weasley  And I fall over laughing.  I love the image of a bonelessly relaxed Snape rolled into a duvet. So charming.

Response from Clairvoyant (Author of That Voodoo That You Do So Well)

Boneless Snape rolled into a duvet?  That's a variation on one of Molly's recipes for chicken burritos, and it can be found in her best selling book... Oh, sorry, my imagination is running away again.  I'm so glad you enjoyed this and thanks for your wunnerful review.
