The war left deep traces on Hermione, as well as on Severus. How will they adjust to their new conditions, ten years after that traumatic experience? Post DH, EWE.

I was introduced into the SS/HG world by perselus' works in 2005, on the backwave of HBP. After being a lurker for a long while, I've started writing myself.
You can find my HP- and Snape-related fanarts on my deviantArt, and sketches on my lj.

I'm guessing she told them she didn't need the job, after all. Lovely story!

I' really enjoying this. It's building slowly, which I like. I love stories that are layered and revealed little by little. I am looking forward to learning more about what happened to Snape in the interval. I am a librarian - though in a very different way from Hermione in your story - an have fond memories of York, where I worked briefly on an archaeology dig one summer, so that ties me to the story also. Keep going!

Thank you! Yes, this story is awfully slow - I didn't plan it to run so slowly from the start, but it naturally took this pace once I started writing. For Snape's years after DH we'll have to wait until chapters 12-13, I fear. :P Writing chapter 10 now.
Methinks she's analysing too much about Snape's motives. Perhaps trying to see herself in him? ^_^ Good chapter. Waiting for the next one. *taps fingers on desk impatiently*

Thank you. I'm waiting beta approval for chapter 6 ;)I bet she wouldn't be called Hermione if she weren't over-analysing everything. This is one of the issues behind her disorder.
I thought calling Snape 'hedgehog' was rather brilliant. He is awfully prickly, isn't he! So though it's not entirely your line, props for picking it for use here. :)

Thank you! Eh eh, Hermione was utterly irritated ;)
