Lovely short story! Your descriptions are wonderful as well. And your Labyrinth reference also inspired me to review ;)
Loved it
lovely, just lovely. i had friends that either gave me tea or stuffed unicorns so i can empathize! thanks and mucho smoochies
It's very cute. I will conclude it mentally to a happy romantic story, which is sometimes just as nice. Thank you for such a beautiful piece.
It's perfect just the way it is. It doesn't need anything else...it's fantastic! Thanks for sharing it.
Well I also liked the part that you liked enough to post, and I'm sure i'd like the rest too! Thanks for writing and posting!
I liked that ending. It was just right. :)
How beautiful!
Brilliant and so sweet. I adored it.
This is absolutely wonderful just the way it is. I love it. Short, sweet and to the point. You don't need to go any further.
It's lovely :)
This is lovely as it stands. I'm delighted that Severus wanted to see her smile, and took the time and effort to notice what she really wanted, and then made her wish a reality.
Perhaps the muse will decide to allow Severus to grant more wishes and Hermione will figure out who it is who has paid attention to the woman she is.

Oh I loved this, thank you so much for sharing:-))
Very sweet and romantic, thank you!
Of course I would have love for the plot to be developped but it stands wonderfully well as it is. I'm glad someone, especially him, is dedicating his love to make her smile.
It's very nice. It sounds like a good beginning of a story. Maybe your muse will come later. I hope so.
Nicely done!
What a lovely fic. I too started to get tears in my eyes from the gifting of the chain.
Though I wouldn't protest to more additions to this fic.
Awesome and so touching. I do wish you will give your cretivity more freedome of expression and go with it... anyways, it's beautifull as is stands. Lovely!
i didnt see it as mauldin. I liked it.. hell i like all the stuff you post! Nice work once again!
As always, beautifully crafted. Hermione's internal monologue as she accepted the well-meaning but ill-considered gifts of family and friends was spot on. I like the idea of Snape being unable/unwilling to directly contact her from either insecurity or perhaps even unselfishly not wishing to complicate her life, yet still wanting to bring her some joy. He isn't miserable or stalking her...but he is a man of "actions". Thank you for giving in to your better angels and posting this.
That is so sweet!
you can NOT leave it there..great great story....
This was wonderful...I totally sympathize with Hermione as I feel like my family has labeled me the same way and holidays seem to occur in a similar fashion ("Oh look another bookstore gift card! How original!")...I think it's perfect as is and if you want to add to it that would be great but the ending fit what you've written so far.
O I do understand why it didn't work out to end it in a kind of romantic way, because it's just perfect the way it is. I could imagine however, that you would write a second part in which he gives her another gift. And maybe even another one in which she finds out who is giving her these things. But I totally agree that this would not work in this story.
