Born: in the glorious year of 1979, when Dio joined Black Sabbath and Peter Pettigrew started passing on information to the Dark Lord
Colours: black, green, silver
Passions: writing, cooking, baking, witchcraft
Obsessions: quite a few, chocolate for one (hi Lupin!), but mainly a certain Potions master and a blond DE.
When I am not writing alone, I co-write with my favourite Ravenclaw star_girl. Look for sevs_starsisters to find our stories.
Published writer since 2014. Original fiction is good fun, but I find myself returning to fan fiction every now and then

oh my, I thought there was a way out, that Voldemort would be made a mere ghost this halloween, well we will see what you have in store for them
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Well, there are still some weeks to go until Halloween. (Nadezhda's birthday is in the end of September.) But I promise I can mess things up a bit more until then ;-)
this is very different from your other stories, but good though. quite a dilemma here, how will you solve this, looking forward to se that. Could there be one litte fluff bunny - please
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
You're right, this is different from what I usually write. Quite dark, quite angsty and just a tad twisted. No fluffy bunnies this time, I'm afraid, unless someone throws one into a potion at some point. ;-)
This is amazing! I love the stories that are set before the books.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Cheers! Glad you're enjoying it so far :-)
Oh yeah, Death Eaters in action! Love it! Oh Severus , how could you forget about Bella? Tsk, Tsk...
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
How could anyone EVER forget Bella??
Trixie, Trixie, Trixie... what an evil bitch. Oh you capture her so well! Look forward till more.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Evil b*tch? Hm, takes one to know one, I guess :P Glad you're liking this :-)
Have definately read this before but enjoying it none the less. Poor girl to be asked to take the dark mark like that or end up dead.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Re-read this yesterday. Maybe dying wouldn't be such ban an option for teh poor thing.Wildcard's response: You did a great job with this dark fic. Thanks.
Great start. Sure I have read this before but enjoying it again. Thanks for writing and sharing.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Thanks for reading, dearest. I'm happily typing away on the first chapter of the sequel.Wildcard's response: Super news. Shall look forward to assisting you. Dark is good.
Excellent story. Great depth and emotion. Wonderful new character. Intriguing plot. I am glad there is a sequel. I look forward to reading it.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
One of my darker stories, for sure, written during one of the less cheery periods of my life. Glad you enjoyed it. Wishing you loads of lovely reading hours for the sequel.
A young Barty. I like this addition to the story. I still picture him with dark hair though, like in the movies. Bella is psycho, but a love spell. Ugh. That us icky.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
It's hard to get David Tennant out of one's head. He IS Barty jr. Loads of things about Bella are icky in this story. i managed to scare myself a couple of times, haha.
And the worst father of the year award goes to her dad.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
He's a nasty peice of work!
Wonderful start. I like the place he is in his life. It is not a spot I see many author's use for their stories.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
I love playing with a younger Severus, before he has his soul torn apart.
Oh!!! Severus is the father - and he has no idea since she oblivated him!!! thanks for the post - exciting
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
And thank YOU for leaving a note! Guess we'll have to wait and see about who's the father.
Guess it's pretty clear that isn't Barty's baby on the way. I wonder how long before Sev learns the truth - he's going to start worrying at that blank spot in his memory pretty soon, and he's going to be in close contact with a proficient Legilimens. Nice to see that blank facade on Nadezhda slip once in a while.I hadn't spotted it at first, but I see you have Snape on Dumbledore's side before the Potters are killed - are you going to go into that?
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
You see, I thought long and hard about in which year I had to set this story. In the end, a scene from Karkaroff's trial heloed me make my decision. Dumbledore said that Snape bacame a spy before Voldmort's fall. So I figured that Snape started spying for Dumbledore shortly after their meeting at the Hog's Head and that Snape started teaching Potions the year the Potters were killed. I'm not saying this is right, it's just how I do math. As for Snape's memory and the father of Nadezhda's child: only time will tell.
Response from Owlbait (Reviewer)
I think you are right - Canon says Snape turned to DD when he found out how Voldemort was interpreting the prophecy.I was misremembering - probably because I didn't actually believe it, lol. I think he was only hedging his bets at that point, and didn't really turn till Voldemort failed his promise not to kill Lily. Must write fic on this someday :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
That sounds like a great idea for a fic. Let me know when you write it. I'd love to read it.
So will memeory charms fail or weaken after a period of time? I can't imagine that he'll be too happy.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
I guess he'll be more shocked than anything, but we'll ahve to wait and see.
wow, it must be Severus's child. Will he get his memory back? Will he ever know? hurry up with updates please
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Must it be Severus' child? Hm ... *wanders off with a knowing smile on her face*
That was a nice slow way to recover from the events of the last chapter. It is a sad day for both of them. Oh... Uh... By the way, there is a typo in the beginning of the chapter. I don't know if you care to know or not, but McKibben is misspelled to MicKibben. Please, don't hex me! =)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Would never hex you, dearest. You have work to do still :-) Thanks for pointing out the typo. And for leaving a note.
Idon't like the thought that she will be living in Malfory Manor, hope Narcissa will be there for her. Nice chapter as allways
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Nadezhda is going to live with the Malfoys? Do you know something I don't? ;-)
Response from gurlimargrethe (Reviewer)
I misunderstood Lucius comment that luckyly he and Narcissa could help her, glad it will not be so
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Ah! No, we'll be leaving dear Lucius out of things this time. Will play with him some other time. (Yes, that's a promise.)
That was really good. Snape has certainly met his match.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying this.
Love the intertwining with canon events, the common sensibilities between Severus and Nadezhda, and the mature dilemmas being presented in their relationship; also, even though he's a secondary character, I don't want to have any feelings for Barty Jr, and yet, in the background, there's some residue of *pity*, or something else I can't quite put my finger on, for him. As always, lovely work!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
I am, in fact, feeling sorry for Barty in this story. Poor lad never had a chance. Glad you like what's going on between Snape and Nadezhda. I do have plans for them ...
You've got an OC who certainly matches Severus for miserable childhood, but interestingly rebellion for her meant staying with the Light. So this would be around the time Severus goes to Dumbledore and offers his services. Sev seems a bit distracted from Lily's death, cough cough. I'm sure it's good for him :o)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Personally, I am not sure the distraction is good for Snape. I see more heartache coming ...
Response from Owlbait (Reviewer)
Oh that's right, there is no longer any impediment to her relationship with wassname. Lacking in a certain Snapeishness though, wouldn't you say?
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Trust me, I can mess things up for my characters big time. Hope to be able to have the next chapter up soon, to answer all the questions.
No! I mean, how dare you break our hearts like this? How can she say goodbye like this? *violently wipes back tears*
What an amazing piece! Am off to read the sequel.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of His First)
Breaking hearts is a speciality of mine. Haven't you noticed yet?
Response from MayavanavihariniHarini (Reviewer)
You are seriously a merciless woman.
