The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master
Chapter 2 of 4
kittylefishHearing reports of possible Death Eater activities in the New Forest, Dumbledore sends a team to investigate: Lupin, Shacklebolt, and Snape, who is none to happy about having to accompany the pair—especially now that he knows the two are, indeed, a couple.

Ohh, you pushed both of my favorite buttons! :) I came to HP fanfiction for the Snupin but recently encountered KS/SS. I enjoyed sneaky Remus who used (and I mean that in the nicest way possible) Kingsley in his attempt to get Snape. And, of course, Kingsley was being all noble to help a friend out. :) I love your KS/SS/RL threesome and hope you write more of them. Thanks!
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
oh, thank you for this review! this started out as kingsley/remus, but snape made it very clear he was not to be excluded from the fun. i would have thought more people would be excited by this threesome, but i guess it's not that popular. i've written a lot of snupin, but this is the first time i added kingsley to the mix, and it was fun. if another plot bunny bites, i'll definitely write more of it. :D
That was a lovely story.

i'm glad you liked it. thanks for telling me so. :D
"Werewolf or not, I wouldn't kick him out of bed." LOL Did Molly really say that? Well, she just vocalized what everyone else was thinking. He's like catnip to the Order. "... feeling physically satisfied and yet somehow empty at the same time." But for Snape, the attraction may be moving beyond superficial. Has he moved beyond his denial yet?"...they began to explore for the best positions in which to place Order members." I think I read more into that sentence than you intended, dear kitty.I'm eager to learn what has harmed the residents and livestock. Are the Death Eaters really using Dementors?
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
um. on the first one, molly didn't say it, she heard it. i did not reveal who actually said it. ;)lol. you definitely read something into that sentence that i had not realized was there. how come no one who betaed for me pointed it out? lol.i shall have the next (and final) chapter up in a couple of days. hopefully it will answer all your questions.thanks so much for the review. as you may have noticed, response to this story has been underwhelming, so it's nice to know someone out there appreciates it.*squishes you*
A very interesting and powerful trio you have there. Intriguing to see Remus working to catch Severus. The dynamics between them could go well, or blow apart if they didn't work together.Thank for sharing.
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
yeah, i'm not really sure how it'll all turn out in the end. and if it's canon-compliant, then not well in any event. i tried writing just remus/kingsley, but i'm a snupin shipper at heart, so when snape insisted on being involved, i had to give in. thank you so much for reading and reviewing. :D
"I cannot believe you would jeopardize our mission by throwing what amounts to a childish temper tantrum where others could witness it. " But Kingsley, that's Severus, tethered forever to his immature behavior. Or is his irrational rage the manifestation of the denial of his feelings for Lupin, or his desire for a meaningful physical relationship. Oh, hell, who is he kidding? Any physical contact with another human would be good for this isolated man.Wonder how the adjoining bathroom will play out. And what kind of DE rituals are messing with the Muggles and the animals? Inquiring minds want to know.
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
i think it might be possible for severus to overcome his immature behavior to an extent if he were not so filled with jealousy over the two of them having something he doesn't. thanks for the review. rest assured, all questions will be answered.
The stage is set for some thick UST. How can Severus possible work with Lupin and Kingsley after catching them in flagrante delicto? Oh, with a good wank, I guess. Well, I for one hope he gets carpal tunnel from all that hand action. "Perhaps if you treated us like adults, giving us all the information we need to do our jobs and then letting us do them the best way we know how, I would not feel the need to quarrel with you." But that's classic Dumbledore modus operandi. Where would HP be if Albus gave everyone all the details and instructions directly rather than manipulating people into thinking they're actions are of their own volition? He'd be a tyrant like Voldemort, rather than the lovable, manipulative bastard we all know and hate.
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
glad you liked the beginning, hon. i hope you enjoy the rest as well. heh. i will remain mum on the carpal tunnel possibility. ;)poor snape, at the mercy of his masters.*hugs*
Poor Severus is just totally jealous, though I really can't say that I blame him at all. Kingsley is indeed quite the catch, and I so want to see Sirius's nose put out of joint when Severus eventually gets to share the fun.
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
hee. kingsley is quite the catch, isn't he? poor sirius, indeed. i had a lot of fun writing this one. :D
Oh, Severus, you're in for it now, LOL! Naughty Author, I was sure you were going to throw Sirius in for good measure, as well! What a rollicking romp. I'm still smirking.
Response from kittylefish (Author of The Werewolf, the Auror, and the Potions Master)
hee hee. i'm so glad you liked it so far. thanks for those pretty shinies. poor sirius exists mainly to be jealous in this one. lol. :D
