*giggles* I'd love what to know what they did after that.
I firmly believe Severus would be an adorable father, especially with daughters. Here is the proof.
This makes me think of the (un?)fortunate Mr. Bennet and his house full of ladies. Kind of like a gumdrop- chewy and sweet. No real nutritional value, but lots of fun to pile up and chomp on!
Related drabbles would be much welcome! I think Severus Snape with a houseful of females is a wonderful little plot bunny.

I sympathize with your father: I have a 4:1 ratio to deal with in my household- but in the other direction! (Way too much testosterone! for this monopausal mess...).
I can't feel too sorry for Severus as he seems more than adept at handling them.
Oh poor things. If they're all like Hermione life should have been okay. But if they are little Lavender *shudders*

Good heavens, I hope I'm not _that_ cruel! I was simply picturing a special event; even young lady geeks and nerds take some pains to look presentable… on occasion. (^_^)

I come from a female-intensive family myself, and I know we're a handful when we all collect together! My mother had three sisters, and of the four of them they all had nothing but daughters...except for one lonely male cousin thrown into the mix with the rest of us. I feel for Severus, I really do! But apparently he holds up fairly well, all things considered...I'd love to read more whenever the muse strikes.
my dad did the 3:1 thing, too (4:1 if you count the dog). he always said his bathroom time was between 3am and 6am! darling drabble! smoochies

lol Mine was lucky; we had two bathrooms, so he only had to share w/ my mom! Now, I, on the other hand, had a teenage sister to deal with… ^_^;
I do like it. I hope you write and share more.
I, for one, would happily read more of a story set in this universe. But I am going to be selfish and ask that you write it as a long story and not in tiny bites, no matter how lovely the presentation:)

I think this is cute. My father's estrogen ratio was 4:1 (5:1 if you counted our female Siamese). ^_^
