Severus Snape had been cornered at last by an irate Harry Potter. A powerful Expelliarmus had sent his wand over the battlements, and he could feel behind his back the cold, rough stones of the Astronomy Tower.
“Please, Jo. Let him do it. Albus still owes me the punchline about the Hag, the Healer and the Mimbulus Mimbletonia.”
The author smirked.
Light footsteps were heard hurrying up the stairs, and a second later, Hermione Granger burst through the door and grasped firmly Harry’s arm, forcing him to lower his wand.
Severus Snape sighed.
Condemned to live.
