I do like this rare pair, and this little fic gave a nice spin to the usual AU end of the war/Shrieking Shack scene, and a nice AU Snape. I could see the two together. :-)

A rare pair indeed, but I think you did it very well!  Nicely thought out, from their beginning through to the very end, and it felt very well paced to read (which I think can be tough to do with a drabble, especially a one-shot).  Nice work!

Lovely! Usually I don't really like a pairing where the woman is the oldest one (with a significant number of years). That's strange because the opposite doesn't bother me at all as long as it's plausible. But here it's just love and that's the most important.
