Reviews for Hooking Calamari
Very funny! Thank you for that!
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
In case you are wondering, when you are laughing so hard at naughty squid antics, that your six year old notices and asks what is so funny, there is no possible way to explain. This should have a post bedtime warning so no one else has to make up a fake funny story as a cover :)
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
That's a good story. Have you thought about posting the one you told your six-year old?
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
Ummm... no. Because after I told her the fake story, she says, "Oh. When you were laughing, I thought you were reading something funny." I guess improv is not my thing :)
" can we watch "
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Glad you were amused by the last quip.
Maybe they should organise a special class for the boys, taught by the Giant Squid... ;)
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
An excellent suggestion, especially if the class includes spells for turning their wands into tentacles.

Mwahahaha!
Way to go, Minerva! Clearly she should become the new head of the Order. Hysterical. And Hermione still has to be the standout. Brilliant characterizations.
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Glad you like the characters since the story is about their interaction as they recover from their trauma. The reader only gets second-hand accounts of the squid's antics.
Love the last line. :)
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Thanks. It was a last minute addition.
Somehow I feel if these kind of stories keep popping up, we're gonna need a squid section.
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Right, Sir Squid of the Lake. Please, no stories about him using his lance a lot.
Wonderfully funny. Excellent.
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Thanks. I think this story walks the thin line between humor and grossness, and it's hard for the author to judge.
OMG....I spit all over my monitor! Warnings please
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
That's the response every author of humor wants. :) Unless it was the squick factor. :(
Response from sregner (Reviewer)
No dear...it was from laughing
LMAO, awesome. well done you!

None of the prompts spoke to me, but suddenly, late that night, yours clicked. Glad you liked it even though I only used part of the prompt.
Response from astopperindeath (Reviewer)
that's the great part of a prompt! you can do whatever you want! i loved it :)
Oh dear. The lecherous squid strikes again! Though I never wanted that imagery (especially McG), this is deeply amusing.
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
Thanks. Does it strike again? I can't find the giant squid on the character search. Glad you are amused even though this is not your cup of tea.
Hahahahaha! Brilliant! Ah, Lavender and her ample breasts being targeted; although no one's orifices, bush or arse-wise has been neglected by our dear squid--Only, alas, Luna and her 'neglected bush' so glad that she perservered and waded further in and got her thighs lapped and lost her presence of mind in eternal harmony *sighing* Lucky Ravenclaws and their adventurous natures... Applauding McGonagall doing the only thing that can be done with the best kept secret of Hogwarts--the last line is a brilliant capper, leading me to believe that sex education via the expert giant squid should be added onto the curriculumThank you for such a naughty witty scenario!
Response from Amita (Author of Hooking Calamari)
It was a bit of naughtiness tailored to the individual characters. Glad you enjoyed it.
