I am amazed and enthralled with the Harry Potter universe, with the emphasis on Snape. HG/SS is my favorite ship (you have been warned). I like sci-fi ? Star Wars, Quantum Leap, Star Trek, and Ray Bradbury to name a few. Horror also catches my interest as in Stephen King. I am a married, mother of two teenagers, multiple pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtle), and I work way too many hours. The rest is window dressing and subject to change without notice. I did a search for fics involving non-con and your fic came up first on the list. Wow, you weren't kidding when you said it was very dark. Your writing is always excellent and your characterization is spot on. Do you find it difficult to write such scenes? I guess, I'm really asking if it gets easier to write extremely dark fics? I've read your stories for some time now and am always in awe of your writing. I hope to write as well as you do, someday.
You're right -- very dark. But intriguing.
Brrrr!This time Snape seemed much darker than in The Wrong Side Won. Seems like they both lost their souls to Voldemort, one way or another.
You should totally write a Voldemort-won-in-1981 fic with Lily as Severus' prize. Complete with gruesome deaths for the Marauders. I'd suggest a curse that keeps James and Sirius in their animagus form and then kept together in the same cell for days till Padfoot gets ... hungry. Pump in some aggression pheromerones too. And then feed whoever's left behind to Moony. All with Lily watching. Oh yessssss....
Not many people have the imagination to write a story where the Dark win, and Severus Snape is truly the cruel bat of the dungeons JK made him out to be in the first 6 books. It seems that you have a brilliant thought-line going about this story, and what surprises me even more is that you right with a bit more feeling than people usually do.
I thought this story was well written.
