That's so beautifully sad. I ache for her because she'll always wonder what could have happened if he had survived. Now she'll never know and I fear she won't let herself live and fall in love.
That was beautifully sad - nice job! Have you thought to do a companion piece from Snape's point of view?

thank you. the thought hadn't crossed my mind, actually. i almost want to bite at that bait, but i consider it unlikely that i would get around to it. i write very little fanfiction now, it seems.
