Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

The good news is he doesn't need them anymore. He has a real love to take care of, now.

The blue pills are day dream fantasies then are they? I am glad he is letting go of the past.
Response from melusin (Author of Taking the Blue Pill)
yes,so am I :)
A little confusing unless you know the Matrix... I forgot about the pills thing. The first part is when he took the blue pills, right?I'm glad he threw them away.
Response from melusin (Author of Taking the Blue Pill)
Just the title borrowed really. The first part was the fantasy (which was the point of the challenge) and the second his new and hopefully better reality
Oh, nicely written!!! And I think this is close to reality in that when we find something worthwhile, we no longer need a crutch. Nicely done!

Thank you.Yes, absolutely
Very interesting...Harry Potter with a hint of The Matrix (two of my favorite stories combined in one). At first, I couldn't tell quite what was going on in the first segment...I thought that perhaps Severus was fantasizing about Lily while having sex with Hermione, or that maybe he was remembering an incident which had taken place while she was alive. The jar of blue pastilles, however, made it fairly clear that the twins managed to come up with something which allows people to experience a very vivid fantasy. At any rate, I'm glad that Severus has apparently decided to take the "red pill" and be with Hermione instead of dwelling on the past.

Yes, he's moved on and no longer needs a fantasy of something that was never to be.
He touched the blue pastilles almost reverently. 'But you may dispose of them. They're well past their sell-by date.' Ah, in more ways than one... Nicely done!

thank you

You've managed to convey so much in such a short space. Very clever indeed. :-)
Response from melusin (Author of Taking the Blue Pill)
thanks, that was what I was trying to achieve.
Okay, I get it....fantasy vs reality. Glad he could tell the difference. Lovely
Response from melusin (Author of Taking the Blue Pill)
that's right, yes. Thank you
At first I didn't get this at all. I read it twice more. And then I got it. Well done!:-)

Oh, my. At first I was a little confused, until I realized the implications. And what a lovely way of showing the shift between fantasy and reality, old and new love. Good job!
