Every utterance of her name… as forbidden as night’s Darkest spell…I have no reason, nor excuse…

I am posting the first draft of my WIP here - TPP and its editors are fantastic - but updated versions are at Ashwinder and Livejournal, as those sites are easier to edit post-submission.

Thanks for reading!
Oh, after reading Snape's tirade in the first few paragraphs, I was almost ashamed enough of myself to go away. But of course I didn't. This is already a tour de force. I wish I thought I were good enough to beta for you but I can't see a thing I could do for you! Of course I am dying to know what will happen. If this were already complete I would skip ahead to see what kind of ending this has, and if we will learn what happened to Hermione.
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
I am glad you didn't go away! Thanks for your review and if you are as eager as you say, it will be my pleasure to provide you with a slong, slow torture... : )
What an interesting premise. I love that he's sure someone else is reading and is basically writing to them and not to Hermione. Can't wait to find more about what is going on and what has gone on.

Thanks for reading - I hope you enjoy the rest! apologies for the belated response, I missed your review the first go round...
Your use of words and language is akin to an artist's use of his pigments and oils. Lovely. :)

You are my First Reader Ever! Thank you so much for reading and your kind review.

This was fantatstic.
Artful, direct, and powerful. A splendid example of the writer's craft!
While I was reading this I felt like I was back in college, (A good thing!) and reading something from English Lit! It was a fine read! Well done.
P.S. I have read Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita, and you know, everyone seems to forget that Lolita was the victim!
Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words. And don't fear, I have not forgotten that poor Lolita was the victim of a terrible crime, no matter what Humbert Humbert thinks.
I just discovered this fic and am fascinated by your approach, your use of language, your characterization. Looking forward to the rest!

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, I hope you enjoy the rest. Thanks for your encouragement!
I hardly leave reviews, but the tone you use is wonderfully accurate and quite refreshing. Particularly the way Snape holds his content for the fans of Potter.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you're enjoying it, I hope it continues to please.
Albus Dumbledore strikes again! It was fun reading about how Severus, metaphorically kicking and screaming all the way, gradually grew to accept and even enjoy Hermione's assistance and questions. I'll be very interested to see if he ever does assign the Doxy egg problem to her, or if events will move too fast for them to be able to get to that. I'm also looking forward to reading about the events at the Department of Mysteries through his eyes, as well. And of course, who is going through Severus Snape's belongings and reading/seeing this? Will we ever find out, or is this kept completely in the imagination of the reader?
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
Thanks for reading! It's good (I think) that you have many questions, means I've done something right at least... Thanks again and hope you enjoy more of it.
What an excellent chapter! I very much enjoyed reading about the inner workings of Snape's mind, and his irritation with the supplier of Doxy eggs' theory of spontaneous generation. Nice to know that there's at least one area where we poor Muggles have surpassed Wizards in knowledge! Also watching his attempts to offer knowledge to Hermione and still maintain his forbidding persona was a real treat, as well.“Um, Professor Snape?” “Yes?” “…There’s still pumpkin in your hair.” Hee hee hee! I love that bit. This story is an wonderful read, but it's like a very rich chocolate truffle--you can't just rush through it, or you miss out on all of the flavor.

I'm new to TPP and this is the first thing I have read. I must say that if this is the kind of thing I have to look forward to I'm going to be spending way too much time on here. You write beautifully. I am loving this story.
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
Thanks very much for your kind words. I am actually a relative latecomer as well. There are so many great stories. I list some of my favorites on TPP and a bunch of my other favorites over at my profile at Ashwinder, if you are interested in finding other stories!
Response from surlapont (Reviewer)
Thanks for that, I'll certainly check them out.
Well done, as always!
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, as always!
I love it but the suspense is killing me, that's why I am only reading when you've published a few chapters. I am guessing this was written by Snape during Hermione's 7th year, after Snape killed Dumbledore? Or is it later? Is this going to be an epic, or shorter?
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
Thanks so much for your reviews! It's a long story (despite my original intentions), so you may have to wait a while ; ) You are correct; it is written by Snape after Dumbledore's death -- See the top of Chapter 1 for the date: March 1998. Thanks again! Silencio
These 2 are so in character, really believable. I am enjoying a story in Snape's voice. The dialog is great. Please keep it coming!
I really like the tone of this letter! It's so perfectly in line with how I imagine Snape would write and speak. I'm hanging on waiting for the next installment... Keep up the great work!

Thanks very much for reading!
Another amazing update, though I do think that Severus`s opinion of Hermione to be somewhat lacking. :)Looking forward to more!
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
By "lacking", do you mean he underestimates her? I agree, of course : )
Response from tenoh27 (Reviewer)
I definitely think he underestimated her, and his opinion of her was quite low. Sorry my choice of word was not very clear.(Or perhaps my opinion of Hermione is too high.... difficult not to be when she is my favourite character).Thank you and looking forward to more.
Sneaky Severus, getting through like that. I don't think that will work a second time. Jealous Sev is amusing, and the slight hint of a Snapelike Krum is intriguing. Poor Hermione, trying to deal with a Snape who doesn't know what he really wants yet. Not that she does either.
Response from silencio_sempra (Author of Apology: Ms Hermione Granger)
Thanks for your thoughts - glad you are still enjoying it : )
“Miss Granger, you set me on fire.” best ambiguous line *ever* ROFL
Leave it to Severus to talk himself into doing what he wants to, eventually :)
Quite the dream, there. Loved the perspective on Arthur's attack - and the unsubtle symbolism that is Nagini.
