Like many proud alumni of the honorable Hufflepuff House, ApollinaV is a rabbid Huffle-hugger, champion pear-tickler, and founding member of Cleansweep-Streakers Guild (the AV-Eyeful is so named in her honor). Since graduating Hogwarts, she done 'responsible' and 'professional' things - and resolves not to do that anymore. Dreadful amounts of paperwork.

Excellent ending.

Oh yes, just a subtle twist to throw everything on it's ear. Thank you! AV
Very twisted, I enjoyed it!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Thanks! I'm glad you did! AV
Seriously not what I was expecting at the end, and for that, quite good. Well-written. Well told.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
I was hoping nobody suspected that, even though I tried to drop subtle clues. Thank you m'dear! AV

I re-read the beginning before I sent my review, and I did notice some particular wordings that could be subtle clues, but I did not see them up-front. Well done.
That was quite a twist, and it was very well written.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Awesome! I'm so glad it worked for you. AV
Wow! I didn't expect this sad/happy ending. Good thing it was Hermione. A lesser witch would not have been able to manipulate the veritaserum. Very nicely done.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Oh yes, Hermione shines, and scores. Thank you! AV
I was simply itching with angst as Hermione squirmed under Umbridge's questioning. What a grim existence! Or so I thought, you sneaky, ebil minx. Love the twisty, happy ending.

Ok - i was a bit of 'isit? isn't it', and then I thought 'no - it can't be'. You had me fooled. and it isn't even April yet. Thank you
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
You know, I hadn't even thought of posting for April Fools. I knew it would be a good 'gotcha,' but I wasn't thinking that it would be a prank. This might be good to release on 1 Apr on other archives. Thanks for the review and the great idea. AV
Whoa! This was the perfect gotcha. I wasn't expecting it at all. Well done.Beth
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Awesome! I'm so glad that it worked. Thanks Beth! AV
Brilliant. I was hoping it would turn out that way.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
*grins* There are hints along the way that this is a Death Eater court, but I think most people are conditioned to believe that he's supposed to be good. Thank you m'dear, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. AV
Oh my. I wasn't expecting that. Well done.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Why thank you. I was hoping it would be a nice/nasty surprise... then again 'Dark Lord Wins' usually is. AV

Whoa, that was dark. I didn't see that coming.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
I think it's probably the darkest thing I've written. But I tried for a new idea on an old theme. Best, AV

Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Why thank you Deb! *blows kiss*
It's funny how your mind drifts along with its own assumptions until it gets a kick in the butt. I love it when my mind gets a bit of a kick. Thanks for the twist
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Oh good *grins* I was hoping that would be the response! Thanks! AV
There are few words tondescribe how I feel but cam in mind first is WOW and MORE. I wish this would be a short part of a much longer story.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Awe, thank you sweetie! I appreciate that. But I really don't do 'dark.' I just fumble around in the 'dark.' Thanks! AV
Wow. I didn't see that coming at all. Even when I was rereading the story, the only thing that seemed odd to me was the fact that Hermione was debating about what the next question would be. However, I brushed it off since it could be possible that others under Veritaserum also worry about the questions that might be asked of them.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Trial of Severus Snape)
Lets see. Off the top of my head, Snape's worried she'll ruin it for her, which would only be if she testified that he's kept her well - she's worried about phrasing her words as well. She's also in a sorry and frail state. There's a Bellatrix reference. The Wizengamot shows no concern for her welfare, even when she struggles to breathe, and are rather impassive about her plight. But I'm looking to surprise the readers and their assumptions anyway. There's nothing clueing you that he's supposed to be on trial for being bad towards her either - without the context of the charges, you don't know. Thanks for reading. AV
Nice little dark fic, thanks for sharing!

Nice twist---I figured something was up but since I couldn't put my finger on it, what a suprise (in a bizzare sort of way)!
