A person's Patronus is very revealing. What if James Potter had something other than a stag for his? What else could it possibly be?

Just a quiet soul who loves to write. How else can I unleash my inner vixen? I love the character of Severus Snape, which is why he is in most of my fics. Romanic stories about Snape will see him with either Lily, Sinistra, or an OFC. Have fun!

Oh how funny! I admit it was a horrible prank on Severus, and in front of the entire school, too. BUt it was funny that James gave himself away like that. A fanged Teacup. Hilarious!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Severus sat on the windowsill and fumed. He’d never live that last prank down. It had hurt, the tiny teeth digging into his nose like that. Almost like the time that lizard he’d been playing with had… No he wasn’t going to think about that. He concentrated instead on Lily’s answer in class. “It reveals a lot of a person’s inner personality.” Lily had said and blushed—actually blushed. “It can be used to help soul mates find each other.” then she'd produced her Patronus—a doe, a graceful doe! He never thought about his Patronus that way. All he’d cared about was that he knew that the Gryffindors—hell, everyone in class would laugh and tease him about his Patronus. Only the fates could be so cruel. It never occured to him that it could be proof of his deepest desire. Of course he could do it; he’d managed one the first night he’d tried. Thank Merlin all his dorm mates had been in the Quidditch field. He flexed his wrist and made the wand movement for a Patronus, and envisioned those days by the river with Lily. Any memory of those days worked. A slender deer erupted from his wand, turned and nuzzled his outstretched hand. He always called it Lily. He always would. “So you are my soul mate,” Severus said softly. “Then why can’t we be together.” The silvery doe didn’t answer, simply watching him with those large innocent eyes. He flicked his wand, and the Patronus vanished. “Life just isn’t fair,” he mumbled and starred out of the window.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hope you don't mind... it just hit me, my muse tickled me, and my fingers started to stumble all on thier own!

I don't mind at all. In fact, it's very flattering. By all means post this!
That was funny.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh, that's tragic but hysterically funny.

That's exactly what I was going for. *needs therapy*
Such torture Snape went through at the hands of those four. No wonder he turned to the Dark Lord.It was funny, but sad at the same time.

If you found it both funny and sad, then I acheived my goal. Normally I write Snape giving as good as he gets, but since this is a parody I had to play up HelplessVictim!Snape. Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback.
hahaha. well, if it was a stag, then he's compatible with snape... having a doe.... hahaha! what a slash is that? haha./ i love your story. kudos to you!

OMG I never thought of that! I dare you to write a follow-up in which James discovers Snape's Patronus. It could be equally funny. Thanks for thefeed-back.LW

haha. i'm not really that good in writing stories... i enjoy reading more than writing.. hehe.. but i'll try to make that! that would be so hilarious!

Go for it! If you need someone to look over it, I would be more than happy to do so. I'm not a slash reader or writer but I can see James coming across Snape producing his doe Patronus and fearing that perhaps Snape could also be his soul mate. Good luck to you!
