Thanks, I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it! :)
I hadn't realized she's that old. And she wished to trifle with poor Severus. EWWWW!
Response from MuseAmusant (Author of Her Little Secret)
To the best of my knowledge, there was never an exact age given for Umbridge, but I didn't think she was in Severus' age range, which would have been in his late thirties, nevermind Alan Rickman's real age.I had figured that present-day Dolores to be approximately in her mid to late fifties, which would have put her in Hogwarts roughly around the time as a young Tom Riddle, if not necessarily in his year, so that's what I decided to go with. And EWWWWW! indeed to the idea of Umbridge perving over our Severus. Dolores seemed to really be turned on by cruelty in general, and she was most likely a Death Eater sympathizer, if not actually one herself, so I can imagine her being attracted to Severus for that reason alone. But I rather doubt she would have felt the same way had she had any inkling of his true loyalties.Sorry for rambling on a bit, but that's my take on Dolores and her apparent thing for Snape. Anyway, thanks for taking a moment to review!
So she always was a conniving little sociopath. Chilling. Well done!

Thanks!
You certainly hit that nail on the head. This is definitely the classic persona of Umbridge. Kudos!

*Blushes*I'm so pleased to hear you felt my take on Umbridge was true to her character. Or the lack thereof, as the case may be. Thanks so much for taking a moment to review! : )

EdgeOfDark's response: You're quite welcome. It was a great piece!
Please, feel free to reciprocate! ^_^
I did not see that coming. Very creepy, and convincing.
Response from MuseAmusant (Author of Her Little Secret)
Thank you! : )
Ohhh dear lord. Umbridge is very scary, even as a kid. And her pureblood superiority crap makes more sense (in a deranged way) now. Yipes.
Response from MuseAmusant (Author of Her Little Secret)
Umbridge is a really nasty piece of work, isn't she? I've always thought there was something a bit off in her obsessive hatred of Muggleborns and those of mixed blood... the notion that she might have something to hide about her own ancestry is what came to mind when I was writing this piece.Anyway, thanks so much for reading and reviewing! : )
