I love you for writing this story! I'm afraid I'm the one who owes you. ;DThis is such a touching ficlet. Every single birthday kiss is vivid with imagery and creativity. I really couldn't tell you which one is my favorite. I was moved by the idea of a slightly inebriated Tobias kissing his newly 6yr old little boy. I have such a formed image in my mind of that scene. I should really sketch it out. I still marvel at your creativity in the second kiss. Aurors and thieves? Too cute! I also love, LOVE, Sev's first experience with legilimency, and his short broomless flight to the safe house. To me, that he was able to conjure such powerful magic, shows just how strong his feelings for Lily were. Narcissa's and Charity's kisses pulled at my heartstrings... especially when associated with the canon scenes (The Unbreakable Vow and Charity's pleas before her death).And then, there's our Hermione, so well characterized in just a few lines. It makes me smile to think that she took him out to dinner and walked him to the door! I believe he was right in hoping that this one would be different. Okay, this review is turning out to be longer than the fic!Hmmm, I guess I could've just said that this fic is brilliant and that you're a gifted writer. :D

This was a very sweet story! I really liked how you illustrated kisses from various stages in his life. Poor thing has so many inhibitions to overcome before he could truly appreciate what he has in front of him!Very well done, Lariope! Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us!
