I wonder why nothing was working right.  It's a puzzlement.  I enjoyed the humorous tone of your story.

Ever,”  Every once in a while, I will come across a line in a fic that will set off frenzied, cackling laughter which likely leaves my housemates with little doubt that I've gone 'round the twist.  This was one such line.  Heh. I suspect the elves have worked out that by distracting Potions master and Knitting missy, each with the other, they stand a good chance of reducing the overall trouble and strife within the castle walls. Interesting phrase I just used, if you happen to be familiar with Cockney rhyming slang. I imagine Knitting missy would be a perfect source of 'trouble and strife' for Potions master.
