Iridescent Snow is NOT abandoned, but it's on a rather long hiatus! Unfortunately, I've been stolen away from the fandom by RL in the form of medical school!

Really? Neville cursed Draco? And poor Severus and his feelings. He's grown quite attached to Hermione very quickly, i'm sure it's the same situation with Severus for Hermione too. Can't wait for more :)

Well, right now, it certainly seems like Nevile cursed Draco! *evil grin. And yes, Severus is quite flummoxed with himself, which was fun to write, and I'm happy that it's apparently fun to read, too. Thanks for the review! :)
Poor Neville. He always seems to fall prey to such things. Of course he couldn't possibly have cursed Malfoy on his own. And Severus' feelings for Hermione are growing in spite of himself.This is such an intriguing story. I love it.MORE MORE MORE please. :D

It seems they are drawn to each other subconsciously. Severus is more self-aware than Hermione but is fighting it. :)

Yeah, I'd say Severus is not so much aware of WHAT he's feeling as much as he just simply hates what's going on... and you're right, Hermione is just coming to the realization, but being a bit more emotionally mature than S, she won't be quite so spastic about it :-)
I've just discovered this fic and while I did note the irregular updating, I'm still hoping that you'll continue with this story and finish it as I'm really enjoying it. I like your writing style and find the characters' motivations interesting and realistic. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Thank you! Yes, updates were irregular in the beginning, but since I've only started posting to TPP now, readers here will be spared the irregularity--those A/N are a little updated now that I think about it... Ch. 1-9 are already written and waiting to be posted, and I've got Ch. 10 halfway written! Appreciate the review :-)
Severus is drawn in against his will. But he should know why, he's always been drawn to power, and she seems to have it in spades, and her name isn't Potter.
