Sequel to Some Things Change.
A year after the triad marries, they find life together is not exactly simple. Things are still changing--but is it for the better? Draco's feelings for his father are intensifying, and what Lucius wants is complicated, too. How will they make it together without falling apart?

Due to the often controversial nature of my fics, I've decided I will no longer be posting here (this not NOT include my WIPs--Princes in Exile and Caged Bird Sings will continue to be updated here. This is regarding only my oneshots and future long fics). You can find all my stories at my Livejournal, under the name literaryspell. None of the fics are, as yet, friendslocked, so you can read at your leisure, and friend me, or not, as you like. :D Be sure to check out my master list, which is the first post on my LJ page. Thank you!
If anyone would prefer to send comments to me personally, or would just like to talk plot or make suggestions, please contact me at literaryspell@live.com. I'm happy to hear from anyone!

You showed their need for each other fighting with their fear of the consequences on the father-son relationship beautifully. Lucius's hesitancy to take control, and Draco's need for him to do so were perfect. :)
Ooh, I hope Draco can do this...and Lucius, too! I also hope he comes back soon, lol. I'm so excited for this sequel! :D
"whose cock would be up his arse, lest we forget—" This one line is so very Anne Landers but NOT, oh, it made me laugh. I wouldn't generally read this fic (I might still dash off when it gets explicit), but I liked your last, so I'm giving it a shot....
Of course the boys need time; this is a major change in their way of interacting with each other. If things were reversed and Hermione was in a triad with her daughter, it would not be an instant flip-the-switch decision. I hope she is patient with Draco. Thanks for the new chapter!
That was an awesome chapter. I can't wait for your next update.
That link is becoming very handy. But it works both ways! :)
Woo hoo! How much time? One chapter? Two? Or are you going to torture them some more? Thanks for the update - more, soon, please?
For this to work out you will have to handle things carefully. I'm quite curious on how this will play out
am so glad you chose to write a sequel! I loved "Some Things Change" and i love where youre taking this story so far.

Thank you so much! I hope you continue to enjoy. :D

Wow...I enjoyed "Some Things Change"...this story is going in a new direction...I will read it as your write it....
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of The Only Constant)
Definitely a different direction! I hope you like it. :D
Well, that's a hot start to the story. Looking forward to more.

Thank you so much!
Love the way you have described the dichotomy of Draco's feelings towards his father. :)

Thank you! That dichotemy is a major theme of the sequel.
Wonderful :)
"If that were true, I'd just jerk off in front of a mirror." LOL
EXCELLENT!!!!!
Thank You!!!!!
I love this story! But, I had to chuckle - I can't pictue Lucius using the word dreck. Funny!

Thank you! And sorry about the Briticism fail. A case of trying too hard, I think. :D
*girl squeak* He roared! Aaaaw... *Inhale. Exhale.* Right. I like how Draco was a complete and utter mess. Lucius' extreme cool is good for many things- board meetings, dark lords, press conferences, and baby deliveries. Good name for the kid, though I'm wondering when they decided on it. I'm surprised (and a little sad) that this is the end of the fic, but all good things come to an end eventually, so I guess I'll move on somehow. 12-step program or something.

Regarding the name--it was just one of those unshown things. I wanted it to be a surprise. You could always move on my reading my new HGSS fic... *entices* :D
it might be wishful thinking that a son of Hermione Granger ends up in Slytherin. :D
And why is that? Little Altais would be a very good asset and leader in that House, helping to reform and improve its reputation. I'd like to see Hermione be proud of a Slytherin son. Will you show us Grandmother Narcissa and the Grangers with Altais? I don't know if your epilogue is very far in the future, enough to show us Lucius' daughter, but I'd like to see Lucius with his little girl.
Thanks for the new chapter!
I'm glad it's a boy. I know they change their mind but I'm glad it's a boy. I'm sure there will be plenty others, boys and girls to satisfy Lucius.
As for the epilogue I don't really know what I want, so surprise me.
Love Draco freaking out while Lucius was the voice of reason. :)
Even aside from the incest part (which is *gestures, facial expressions*... interesting), it's got to be weird, thinking about your parents having sex while having sex. (!) Heck, thinking about parents having sex at all is kind of traumatic, never mind hearing said parent discuss it. Are we ever going to find out the baby's sex? Are we going to have to wait in suspense along with Draco? How dreadful! And poor Hermione with her morning sickness... I do not envy her that, not one bit.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of The Only Constant)
I mean, how can you NOT think about it? This is his FATHER! *shudders* Okay, I know I'm not supposed to say that because it's an incest fic and all, but... So weird. It really is. As for the baby's sex.... NO! *laughs maniacally* Actually, since Hermione and Lucius know, the next chapter that is in one of their POVs, we will also know. *ponders*
It's so cute to see Draco struggling with the usual fears of a future father. Please can we know the sex of the baby?
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of The Only Constant)
Next chapter! Promise. :D
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
*squee* thank you
Percy is perfect. Efficient, organised, and thoroughly annoying. :)
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of The Only Constant)
LOL So true... I do love torturing my characters, whether with angst... or Weasleys. :D
Ahh, a contraceptive on Lucius.... that works, although I'm still not sure why they can't just tell Lucius. After all, Lucius knows Hermione's plan from chapter 29 of "Some Things Change." Well, I suspect Lucius will figure it out. I hope Ron is more reasonable, and that Hermione quits trying; Ron shouldn't have so much power over her as just a friend. Thanks for updating!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of The Only Constant)
Re: why they don't tell Lucius. This is mostly Hermione not wanting to fail. She probably wouldn't have even told Draco if she hadn't needed his help. It's sad that she sees it as a 'pass/fail' kind of thing, but that's how she is in canon. I can really see her being disappointed in herself if she were to miscarry, which is shockingly common. As for Ron, I totally agree. Again, this is Hermione as I see her: unwilling to just let things go because of a fight. Thanks for reading and reviewing! *hugs*
Response from June W (Reviewer)
Ahhh... Thanks for the explanation! I couldn't understand and now I do. Still, if she miscarries, Lucius would be very upset that they kept it from him, locking him out of the family. Must cross fingers!
